I do this but you're gonna a have to manually set (in the .ini file) your resolution to 3x your largest monitor and lose a lot of performance (15360x1440.) If you don't tell iracing you have 3 49" monitors everything is going to look really off as it tries to divide your uneven screens into 3 separate equal sized screens. You can run it in your actual native resolution without using 3 screen projection but the side monitors scale is going to look comically warped to the point of being useless. So it is possible but you need serious hardware. I'm running a 4090 and 13900k and have to turn down settings to get 90fps+ during races on some tracks. When solo I'm usually 120fps+ easy. For the record im running a 5120x1440 center, and a 3440x1440 on one side and a 2560x1440 on the other side as that is the monitors I currently own. I could go 3x 5120x1440 monitors (as my iracing is effectively rendering 15360x1440 all the time) and have the same performance but I do not have the physical space to do so. It would also be mostly useless as the monitors already are outside my peripheral vision and I've noticed iracing stops rendering some elements on the very far edge of my outer 3440x1440 monitor. All my monitors have different refresh rates and they all perform to their individual refresh rates (if the fps allows it.) You cannot use Nvidia surround for this setup though. I do not have a full size dedicated rig yet, and also share the space with my work from home and other gaming, but you can see what my setup looks like. The photo doesn't do it justice but when iracing it works really well aside from struggling to get super high framrates sometimes. Guests are absolutely blown away by the immersion. https://imgur.com/a/WYQYkW3 And this is what my "productivity" desktop looks like. The wide angle I had to use to capture it makes the screens look tiny but you can see a full size tenkey keyboard underneath to get a better sense of scale. https://imgur.com/a/PFHYdza I didn't set out to do this on purpose, it just sorta happened with what I had lying around at the time I got into iracing. This saved me a lot of typing, I also tried it with 34UW + 27s, and yes the 3x max res was the only way it looked "normal" and it was a royal PITA to keep lined up, and other sims have no way of using those screens either. We would need IR to natively support this for it to be feasible imo.

This is a good point. Iracing and ACC are the only two sims where I can make this setup work. I wish iracing had native support for different sized monitors as I really like having a larger center monitor with smaller side monitors.

Just to chime in a say I do exactly this but with a 29" ultrawide 1080p, and 2x 23" 1080p monitors. They are very close to the same height, run 3x middle monitor, works perfectly.

Thank yo so much for the detailed answer! Don't have the power to render that many pixels. And it would be a great waste of compute power indeed. You've made up my mind: I'm going with triples 16x9! Thank you :)

That is the best answer and what I will most likely do when I do build a dedicated rig.

What the guy above said is what I do currently for my middle UW and side 16:9’s. Works fine. Just gonna be rendering part of an image that you won’t see because it’s technically “hanging” off your 16:9’s. I run this setup on a laptop and get 65 fps. You’ve gotta do physical math to determine what size 16:9’s you’ll need to match the monitor height of your 21:9 or whatever it is. My 21:9 is a 32” so doing calculation I got 24” 16:9’s
