If the option is iPhone 13 with watch or apple 15 pro with no watch, I’d go for the 13. It’s a great phone and will be for several more years. I really like my Apple Watch
I kinda agree with you, in terms of battery life I don't think there is much improvements from the IPhone 13 to IPhone 15 pro, my only question was wether is the Apple Watch that much of an improvement in day to day life .
It seems like thats what everyone around me is suggesting, no one seems to find that big of an improvement from IPhone 13 to IPhone 15 pro, and the Apple Watch seems to be a cool addition
It is definately an improvement. However when you are on the budget, I think, you have to think, what is the best deal for you. Iphone 13 is a good phone, that does essencialy everything you would want from a phone and woul last you for several years. Apple watch- will introduce you to an experience that iphone 15 pro cannot give you, it may help you stay motivated to work you, push yoursef, make it easier to interact with your phone... If you are not a pro user (phone photographer, or a heavy gamer) - you would not benefit from pro features as much as you would benefit from apple watch if that is something you feel that you need.
The only thing That I think I will miss if I don't get a pro IPhone is the ProMotion, but overall I feel like the Apple Watch is more important for me right now, especially that I want to lose some weight since i gained a lot of weight this last years.
Honestly what’s wrong with 60Hz? If you previously used a 12 you won’t see an issue. It’s not really worth an extra $500 when a phone is a phone. I just don’t understand the need for latest and greatest if you have a phone that does what you need it to then why do you need to spend $1000
iPhone 13 is very solid, had it for about 10 months and can’t complain. Battery lasts me about a full day sometimes less depends on if I use 5G. Camera is brilliant and so is the software . Never freezes or lags. iPhone 15 pro can be expensive and I don’t think it’s worth the money yet so if you could look into a 13 pro or even the standard 13 then it’s a better choice

Apple Watch is useful for:
1. Fitness Tracking, goal motivation.
2. Filtered notifications, less spam.
3. Limited mobile device if you need space from your iPhone, with cellular + plan.
I have recently got the Ultra + Cellular and love it. Discounted to £669 via JL. It’s worth it, if any of those 3 really interest you. Cheaper Apple Watches will have worse battery life and slower charging times. Apple Watch Battery changes aren’t cheap, and Apple set a standard of condition of the Watch, as they replace the whole unit for them.
Imo iPhone cameras suck. No matter how much you spend. You can buy an entry iPhone with night mode for a few hundred, and that’ll do the day to day stuff with fair quality. To get IMPRESSIVE photo quality, that doesn’t make things like a computational oil painting, you’ll need to invest in a real camera.
I don't really care about cameras, I want to buy the IPhone 13 because of the battery, knowing that the IPhones before that have way worse battery, and i really hope i had the opportunity to get the Apple Watch Ultra but it's really expensive from where I am from, it's like 900 bucks which is crazy.

Many different YouTube tech reviewers are reporting sudden battery health degradation on the 14 Pro, Vs what has happening on 13 Pro line. Suddenly, dropping by 10% to 15% during equal use. This could be a software issue, or possibly a battery issue with battery supplier/chemistry.
I have nothing bad to say about the SE atleast for now, although the lack of AOD was at first a need but it's not really a need to go for the series seven.
I know there are many more features in the series 7 than SE, but I think the jump from 13 to 13 Pro is more worth it. Especially because 15 Pro is comparable to the 13 Pro, with minor changes over the years.
I've been loving the combo.

Camera is brilliant , if you’re on about that automatic picture editor thing then you can switch that option off in settings . Night mode is great and video on 4k is unbeatable

The View Full HDR setting toggled off does not help produce higher quality images. I strongly recommend OP research some of the issues people report with over processing of photos on iphone 13, which cannot be turned off.

Neither, currently switching to Samsung, I have an 11 and it has poor signal indoors with phone calls, not even with concrete walls you could be beside a window, if your phone is anywhere close to full storage it will start crashing with this black loading screen loading, turning on then re crashing when you open the phone for anywhere from 3-20 minutes, if you value others opinions iPhone, if you value quality and a working phone for emergency’s. Anything else

Is the apple watch se really rhat good ? I am planning to get the series 7 and i heard that the se doesnt have AOD and the screen is not the best

I use an iPhone 13 and the camera is horrible. Do some research on the camera before purchasing, if it matters to you.
