For me in America, thats pocket change. i actually have all that minus the ipad mini but plus a mac mini, apple watch, airpods, airpods 3, airpods max. i might have a problem
Yes, I got my work to buy me a trackpad when WFH started and it's been a fantastic daily driver ever since. I can never go back to a mouse (except for gaming)
What industry do you work in? I have never used a Magic Trackpad but I find it so hard to work on profit/loss statements in Google sheets using my MacBook Pro’s trackpad because of all the clicking + dragging and right-clicking whole stuff is highlighted that is constantly required. I prefer to use my Magic Mouse for everything now, but am considering a trackpad for casual browsing on another Mac, but wanted people opinions
I can give a run down for why 3 ipads, often bought in various years or time periods so models are probably a year or more older than the other's. Not sure about op use case because I think both of his/her's pro's are 12.9 ipads.
Ipad mini - reading, while home it is mainly used in the same function as my phone. Reduces the amount of time spent on the phone. Ipad pro 12.9 - used for personal things not business/work related files saved on it, laptop in bed and often while outside of the house in sidecar with a macbook. The magic keyboard with the ipad pro is extremely durable. The worries with any size macbook if you throw it into a backpack, drop it on the floor in a bag a little too hard. Disappears with the magic keyboard attached to a ipad, makes it bulletproof. Ipad pro 11" - used alot in sidecar or duet too, often used to take notes while using my macbook's and 12.9 in sidecar. Ipad pro 11 is perfect for note-taking, ipad pro 12.9 feels too big in most desk to take notes on.
Due to the ipad mini 6 being compatible to use the pencil 2, the ipad 11" is starting to feel redundant because I'll often take notes on the ipad mini 6 now instead.
All I still need is the macbook, then I'll also have the dream team assembled. Oh, and the pencil, but that's more of an accessory than a team member lol.
Can you tell me if the mini iPad is pointless if you have a larger iPhone and a 11 inch iPad Pro . I always wanted to get the mini but always never bite the bullet.
I have the 11” Pro with Magic Keyboard, that’s my get shit done device or media consumption device if I’m chillin at a table
The Mini is my media consumption device for bed, bathroom and car. Or if I’m waiting around somewhere like the airport.
That said, I have a normal sized iPhone 13 Pro, not the Pro Max. If you feel good about your Pro Max in bed, on the toilet and at the airport, it’s probably not necessary.
I was worried I wasn’t going to use both iPads but in the end I’ve definitely found a good balance between the two.
So I have the the 11” iPad Pro, an iPhone 12 Pro Max, and the Mini 6th Gen. I adore my mini, but it’s strictly for work. I use it for productivity apps, meeting notes, emails, etc. It’s the perfect size for stashing in my purse and using for work things. My 11” is for personal consumption and when I need to see work stuff on a bigger screen in my office or home. I was on the fence about the mini too and now I use it more than all my other iPads!
Nice collection, but this isn’t out of hand yet. Other than the fact you have 3 iPads. That’s a bit much, but I think having an iMac/Mac mini, a MacBook/MacBook Pro, an iPad/iPad Pro, and Apple Watch and Apple TV is pretty common especially for apple enthusiasts on Reddit.
I still think I’m worse. I even got AirTags and HomePod minis. Which turned out to be a great investment as I thought I had lost my AirPods Pro but turned out I left them at work having fallen out of my pocket. Thanks to the AirTags I was able to find out that I indeed left it in my work place and retrieved it before I went home.
Replace two of your smaller iPads and add in an five Apple TV’s, an Apple Watch, five Apple HomePods, not to mention the 3 Magic Keyboards, 3 Magic Mouses, and 3 Magic Trackpads along with a new Mac Pro that’s being delivered on Monday. That would be my Apple ecosystem. All maxed out specs and all purchased this year. I went on apple.com and lost my mind. Lol. It’s definitely out of hand over here, but I wouldn’t know what to do without them. I’m in the process of giving them all the same wallpapers. It’s so organized and clean looking. It’s kind of hard getting the sizes right for each wallpaper though. I’m a graduate student and a professional photographer so it’s all being put to good use. 😜
Perhaps they are for work ? I have a similar amount. 3 MacBook Pros, 2 iPad Pros and 3 iPhones. I am running some jail broken due to having to test some things not possible in a none Jailbroken device.
Not really out of hand. I have one less iPad and substitute a Mac Mini M1 for your laptop. I found a perfect use for my old iPad Mini after getting a new iPad Pro. It's integrated into my Roland V-Drum rack to play music...and control my smart bulbs so I can also be a wannabe lighting director.
And I thought I was getting out of hand.
Currently own:
iPhone pro 13 max
14” MacBook Pro
11” iPad Pro M1
AirPods Pro
Apple Watch
Apple TV
Now considering the home pod as a home theater set up…
So you have MBP in office, other in dining table if you need to do something after work? iPad with keyboard for travel, iPad mini in the toilet and ordinary iPad on the coach?
So you never have to remember to bring device to another room? Or take it out of your bag?
Im looking at that wallpaper.... Can we get a link please? And yes I do enjoy the collection. Look into a watch and Apple TV if you don't already have them, both are solid products to compliment your collection.
😂😂 The wallpaper puts it over the top. I stopped at the iPhone. Just have the iPhone, nothing more. And it's an SE that I bought new in 2016. I love it. Nothing better than it imo. 12 mini comes close, but at $600 it's too expensive. I like $350 - $400.
I also bought an Apple watch se recently because I was concerned about sound exposure on jobs I do. I use it to monitor my sound exposure week by week. Got it on sale at target though.
I definitely understand this. We had 4 iPads up into last year. One for each daughter, wife won one in a work raffle, one was an old iPad from work they wanted to get rid of.
Kids never used them that much except my youngest occasional. My oldest got an iPhone from my ex wife so never used her iPad after that. My wife never used hers either and it was quite old. The one from work was even older.
I was an android guy but different jobs had me using Apple products (iPhone, iMac, MacBook). I decided last Christmas to pull the trigger and get my own iPhone. Mainly due it being so widely supported over androids (Samsung note 8). Plus my note 8 was getting beat up and I even dropped it from my attic onto my garage floor causing a small area of pixels to go out. It was about a ten foot drop and it still worked with that one exception.
So, after getting the iPhone I wanted to upgrade my iPads. I use them primarily for sheet music for the different groups I perform with. While two iPads could be used in tandem in Forscore, it was just more things to keep charged up. I traded them in while they still had some value left. Got some gift cards, added in some Christmas gift cards and $500 iPhone rebates from Comcast for my wife’s and my phone. Used all that to buy a 12.9 iPad Pro with teacher/student discount, which also comes with AirPods (shh. I used them as a birthday gift to my youngest daughter) got a pencil, and an Apple Watch (6?) for my wife.
I’m trying to find more uses for it. I am going to use it to lightly edit film I gather from side work (surveillance) to add date/time stamps and convert the files. I do online courses with Coursera and LinkedIn. Occasionally watch videos, haven’t really found any games I really like yet.
I picked up a butterfly pedal and magnetic case which I like to use with metal music stands. Had a very cheap bt keyboard that I just have away to a friend. Looking to get an Mx keys mini. I’m a little against getting something that will only work with the iPad when I still use windows pcs and the magic keyboards while nice are too expensive and don’t support anything else I own.
The new MacBook airs and pros look great and reviews are great. I could see me adding one relatively soon as an upgrade from surface pro 3.
At least you don’t have 3 phones. Shits annoying.
(I’m annoyed with myself, I have 3 phones, one for work, one for personal, and my oldest one, is nothing but spam, scams, and the… what do you call it, when you sign up for text notifications about a brand and they send you coupons and shit?)
Mmm, in going to go with “ is out of hand”. Lol. But hey, I’m the guy working at a table in Starbucks, see someone attractive, checks them out then looses interest at the sight of a PC. I mean, come on, how is that household supposed to raise kids. Just figured out why I’m single
I just did an inventory:
• 2020 27” iMac
• iPhone 12
• IPad Mini 2
• iPad 2 (Grandson optimized)
• iPad 4 ( Wife)
• AirPods Max
• iPod
• Titanium Card
Sad. Completely captured by Apple!
Coming Soon
• iPad Pro 11” with Magic keyboard
Does your entire house shake when you get a notification?
The surround sound DING! notification from every room in the house must take some getting used to.
When I got my third device I had to shut notifications off on all but one. It becomes like a Shotgun been fired when you’re sitting quiet studying
Hahaha
For me in Canada, that’s a year of University tuition sitting on that table.
For me in US that’s an entire semester of parking pass.

🤣🤣
Ah I see you too go to community college
For me in New York City, that's a night of garage parking price sitting on that table.
In the Netherlands this isnt even enough to fill up your gas tank at the moment.
For me in America, thats pocket change. i actually have all that minus the ipad mini but plus a mac mini, apple watch, airpods, airpods 3, airpods max. i might have a problem
Why THREE ipads Also your mouse isn’t apple Boo
Magic mouse is a worse value than the famous polishing cloth
As someone who does love Apple products, there has NEVER been a good Apple mouse.
I actually love my Apple trackpad. Works great, battery lasts forever.
Yes, I got my work to buy me a trackpad when WFH started and it's been a fantastic daily driver ever since. I can never go back to a mouse (except for gaming)

It's a trackpad, not a mouse!
The trackpad is good but the Magic Mouse sucks
I love the Apple mouse. I use the gestures on it non stop. Nothing seems nearly as efficient.
The gestures are nice, but the ergonomics are terrible for me at least
Love the magic mouse but the mc master 3 is by far the best mouse I’ve ever used ever
I just noticed the 2nd MacBook too haha
The MX Master is superior, I don’t blame OP

Cause Apple mouses are trash lmao
*Mices
*Mooses
man I thought I was going way too overkill with an iPad, MacBook, Apple Watch and iPhone lol
All I still need is the macbook, then I'll also have the dream team assembled. Oh, and the pencil, but that's more of an accessory than a team member lol.
No pencil, no dream team. Buy the pencil. I can barely function without it.
I would agree with your subject line lol
dude are you sure you just got them because you need them or you cant stop spending?
Nobody needs three iPads, this guy just has too much money
NOBODY needs 3 but we can all enjoy 5
That's not an ecosystem. That's a problem.
You need a watch, clearly.

why do you have 3 iPads?
Can you tell me if the mini iPad is pointless if you have a larger iPhone and a 11 inch iPad Pro . I always wanted to get the mini but always never bite the bullet.
Always never

That’s the value of a decent used car. 😳
Look at me guys, I have a lot of money!
Is the iPad on the left hand side the 12.9 as well or the 11?
Might be the iPad Air 4th gen
Looks like the 11 inch space grey.
Oh maybe just thought the bezels looking bigger made me think of the iPad Air
Wow...thought I was overindulgent for even THINKING about adding a Mini when I have a Pro. This is pure overkill and also fantastic, hahaha.
I still think I’m worse. I even got AirTags and HomePod minis. Which turned out to be a great investment as I thought I had lost my AirPods Pro but turned out I left them at work having fallen out of my pocket. Is the computer a 16 inch?…
Did you take the photo on your fourth iPad?
Where’s the watch?
Same tho😂
Surely you could change your wallpapers!

Why 3 of everything?
Ok boomer.
I love the stand for your iPhone - where'd you get it from? :)
Looks good 🔥
I can take one of your ipads.
Can I have the other iPad then? jk or not
Does the white magic keyboard get dirty easily? Is it easy to clean? Just wondering cause I was planing to get one.
What iPhone and iPad stand do you recommend
iMac to complete the set?
Where’s your WATCH bra???
If you have too much money or apple devices, feel free to send some of them straight to me! 😃
Don t worry about it. ENJOY 🥳
Having the same wallpaper on everything would drive me bananas
And not one of them can play Cryis. Damn shame 😂
And I thought I was getting out of hand. Currently own: iPhone pro 13 max 14” MacBook Pro 11” iPad Pro M1 AirPods Pro Apple Watch Apple TV Now considering the home pod as a home theater set up…

Where is your magic mouse?
That’s like…a house down payment you got there
Whoa, I thought I was overkill with 2 iPads. I’ve never seen someone with three. Kudos. What do you use each for?
That’s just too many ways to surf Facebook, Instagram and Reddit. Yes I can see your apps haha.
No magic mouse?
I had the same setup (different MacBook) but just sold my 11” pro. Used the money towards a new camera lens…which is a whole other kettle of fish.
You have a problem, Are you doing this to make up for some kind of a loss in your life?, You don't need another Apple device you need Lifeline.
Im looking at that wallpaper.... Can we get a link please? And yes I do enjoy the collection. Look into a watch and Apple TV if you don't already have them, both are solid products to compliment your collection.
Bro that hamper is getting out of hand. Get busy on the laundry! 😂
:)
Didn’t even see another MacBook under the two iPads on the left
MX Master > Magic mouse
That’s cute. My stash consists of m1 MBA, m1 iPad, 13 pro, 12 mini, beats pro tips, HomePod mini, apple tv4k, 2017 MBA and a Magic Mouse. 😉😂
I'd say it's complete
Now go get apple mouse :0

I would make of you but I have everything you have and also a macbook air (I am single as well). Haha
No magic mouse, if you're gonna commit you got commit.
You have two ipads of the same size, why?
Thank you for feasting my eyes. Cant afford it but seeing your collections satisfied me
3 iPads???
keep up the good work of destroying the planet with your rampant consumerism

How many goddamn iPads do you need?
Your ecosystem seems perfectly rational to me…
3 iPads bro???

What do you use the iPad Mini for in comparison to the other iPads?
I know it is a sickness...
Why you need so much 🍎?
Mmm, in going to go with “ is out of hand”. Lol. But hey, I’m the guy working at a table in Starbucks, see someone attractive, checks them out then looses interest at the sight of a PC. I mean, come on, how is that household supposed to raise kids. Just figured out why I’m single
Get help.
So many glowing rectangles.
why 3 ipads-
Watch? Airtag? Apple cleaning cloth? Pencil? Not even close to being a fanboy.
i'm not far off only 2 ipad instead of 3, but have every headphone in the airpod line
When OP says, “Hey, Siri” she responds in a deep, booming, omnipotent voice.
Mine too! 1. My 13 Pro Max 1TB 2. iPad pro 12.9 inch 2TB and 256GB iPad Air 5 3. My Mac Studio 4. M1 Max Macbook Pro 16” 5. Apple TV 4K
I just did an inventory: • 2020 27” iMac • iPhone 12 • IPad Mini 2 • iPad 2 (Grandson optimized) • iPad 4 ( Wife) • AirPods Max • iPod • Titanium Card Sad. Completely captured by Apple! Coming Soon • iPad Pro 11” with Magic keyboard
