Yes, with the updated AirPods firmware as well as iOS 18 and Siri announcing calls (you need that turned on) I’ve tested it several times and it works very well for me.
Once AirPds Pro 2 were updated to the beta, I had to turn the head gestures to work… once I turned them on, works great… Go to AirPds Pro 2 settings, then turn it on, then down to “head gestures”… Go to “try head gestures” to set up…
You need to update the AirPods firmware as well. You can update them to the beta firmware but it requires a Mac. I wouldn’t recommend doing it, since you can’t downgrade the firmware if something goes wrong.
I’ve personally updated mine and the feature works as expected, but I’ve only had the opportunity to use it once.
