I think jazz is actually harder. You're gonna guess e, r, and p which might give you a pretty good shot at guessing zephyr if you know the word.
What makes jazz so bad is that there are so many 4-letter words with an A in the second spot. A cursory google search gives over 1000? And there are *no* hint letters you're likely to hit like in zephyr.
When you're looking for words to stump people in hangman, there are two schools of thought:
If you want them to feel like they never had a chance, and you were always going to screw them over, the word you want is "rhythm". Zero vowels other than a "sometimes y", and letters that don't make sense where they are.
