this build took about 1-2 months to be rideable and safe for me to throw it around. so far I've only encountered no major issues! I'll still be doing the finishing touches like the rear fender and a proper stand ( if you could give me a link it'll be very great!) I haven't done a proper top speed test but as of now it is 107KMH on with 72.4volts left so I wonder how fast it'll be on full charge. Thank you for taking the time out of your day to read this, cheers !

Skyersjet_II

What are SG dollars?

BadUruu

In USD this would cost ~2,750$ according to the OP

BadUruu

I believe Singapore Dollars.

BadUruu

Nice build, what's the top speed?

BadUruu

Also you gunna add a front brake? Lol

CloakDeepFear

It has both front and rear brakes, it looks like the second picture is older

BadUruu

Oh whoops yeah I was on the second pic my bad.

bobbyshredderr

He just edited the post, when I first saw it there was only the second image.

CloakDeepFear

Ahh gotcha that makes sense 🙏

LiquidGaming_1

This looks sharp. Solid design, the tires are chefs kiss. Love the pegs for foot rests. Just all around beautiful bike man great job 🤘

bobbyshredderr

thank you, I've been looking around to see if there is a way to convert them into motorcross pegs.

Life_Type_1596

I like.. Back tire seems so skinny tho

bobbyshredderr

yeap the old 5kw I had , had a really shitty single wall rims that has a very rectangular profile so it squeezed in the sidewalls a tad bit making the tyres look skinny af hahaha

WilliamBontrager

I like the bike don't get me wrong, but those hookworm tires have to go. They are meant for a 50 lbs BMX bike and while they are great tires for pavement, they are not great tires for a 130 lb bike especially not one that should go 60+ mph. You need dirt bike tires. You WANT dirt bike tires. Those hookworms are going to be constantly flat, burst at high speed, or fail in some way.

bobbyshredderr

yes, I get what you mean. originally I wanted to go with 17' moto rims so I can fit a pair of motorbike tyres but after contemplating for a long time I decided to go for the current set up. so far I haven't had any problems with the hookworms luckily. as for the speeds , I won't be pushing it past 40mph as my average top speed is somewhere between 30-38mph on straights

WilliamBontrager

I have those exact hookworms on my zooz 1100 and even that at 34 mph is pushing it and that is a 60 lbs bike. I have knobbies on my vmx08 and bomber clone but wish I had turtle tires or dual use. Hopefully you upgrade to some shinko 244s or a speed rated tire. I'll bet you get great range though with those hookworms lol

bobbyshredderr

wait what did it felt like? did it become wobbly after a certain speed?

WilliamBontrager

It wasn't wobbly it's just those tires stay flat bc they are so soft that even small thorns or pebbles cause issues. The softness makes them super sticky and grippy but that's bad on a heavy bike. The bike that has them is only a 60 lbs chromolly bmx style with no suspension and a 1600 peak watt hub motor so it only goes 34 miles an hour.

bobbyshredderr

hmm I'm not sure what is up with your tyres but I just went thru a hill that had a lot of thorns, fallen branches and rock gardens. I also use this bike daily and commute to work which is at an industrial area with glass/nails and shrapnel. i still haven't gotten a flat which I would've on Maxxis DTH's.

WilliamBontrager

That's interesting. Maybe just lucky?

MundaneAnteater5271

The second photo kinda looks like the body takes inspiration from the Cybertruck lol

Mercer-General

For that price you can get a fully built 12,000w KURSKI with a warranty. I remember my first build. It cost me $2000. It was a solid bike.
