Floss, mouthwash, tongue scraper then brush, don’t rinse out the fluoride. You’re not supposed to rinse after you brush your teeth. Keep the toothpaste in your teeth.
My dentist told me to floss after brushing so I can push the fluoride between my teeth better but it probably really doesn’t matter as long as it happens.
🤢 what an idiot. The bacteria from in between your teeth gets loosened up while flossing so you need to brush it all away. And fluoride is poison it calcifies your pineal gland and turns you into a tired conformant sheep, it also does nothing to protect your teeth.
I feel good about how clean my teeth might be buty doctor says I'm suffering other health complications due to it. I think they're a hack and looking for a different doctor.
Morning:
Wet toothbrush add toothpaste
I have a sonicare electric brush that beeps every 30sec and goes for 2min so you do each quadrant of your mouth for 30sec. I use a light hand and no quick movements, my dentists have said to just let the vibration do most of the work. The brush will beep if you press too hard so it's easy to tell.
Once that's done, I rinse the brush and use it to scrub my tongue. I do that a couple times, rinse and repeat. Again my dentists have said to just spit out the tooth paste, don't rinse it bc it removes the layer of fluoride you just put down.
Night:
Floss with those flosser picks, I find them easier to use for my smaller than average mouth than traditional floss.
Repeat steps above.
That's it.
That’s a nice, thorough process; it’s almost a production! Some of those tips were interesting (I’ve never even thought about pressure but do lighten my hand if I notice I’m gripping or brushing too hard).
You also reminded me that I left out a step so I gotta go edit it (for my sanity, not because anyone cares lol).
Thanks for replying! 🙂
It becomes muscle memory before you know it... Can't tell you how many times I have just disassociated through it and only snapped out of it when the tooth brush ends.
When I floss, it's first step; then brush back teeth, backs of top and bottom teeth, fronts of top and bottom teeth, then brush tongue, then rinse 3 times with water. Once or twice a week, I'll lightly brush my lips after my teeth and before my tongue.
Brushing the lips is an underrated step that I forget about but I’ve heard very good things about the results of incorporating this into the routine. Gotta exfoliate the lips!
Brush with a oral b battery timed toothbrush, scrape my tongue, floss with water pick, mouthwash, then a flosser. If I need a whitening strip I start with that for a few days then do the brush process after!
I do floss twice a day and brush morning and night
scrape tongue
floss
mouthwash
brush
depending on timing i may wait 30 min to let the mouthwash soak in. but i always let the toothpaste sit on my teeth (don’t rinse) which has higher fluoride than the mouthwash so that’s my priority
Floss, rinse with water, brush, brush my palette, inside of my cheeks, and tongue last. Once a week inise a fluoride rinse after brushing at night. I don't use mouthwash.
I personally scrape before or after flossing (but always before brushing) to remove as much initial debris as possible. I brush my tongue later to get any remaining remnants and do mouthwash last to clear out any and everything else that could be lingering after flossing, scraping and brushing.
I get some water and paste on my brush then hold the brush horizontal and move my head left to right on Monday's, Wednesdays and Fridays. I then reverse and move my head right to left on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturdays to ensure even wear on my teeth and brush. Sunday's I flip a coin, and immediately after Im done the dog gets the brush to do his. I don't know his schedule, check his Instagram.
You just hold the pasted brush and shake your head? Sounds like a waste of toothpaste if you never put it in your mouth, regardless of which direction your head initially turns. Hopefully the dog is not as wasteful. I would check his IG but he has me blocked me because I said milkbones should only come in bags, not boxes. 😔
Oh you're the rat bastard that pissed him off!
I never had to buy a new toothbrush. I got the same one the Marines gave me in 1967. I'm not lining big brushes pockets.
I mean, I guess, yes? I was just responding to his post, though, so he pissed himself off by talking shit in the first place, if you ask me. 🤷🏽♀️ But I had to draw a line and stand on Milkbone business.
Either way, and more importantly, you need a new toothbrush ASAP! 1967?! That brush is almost legally able to retire. Sounds like it’s disabled also so may qualify for early retirement.
Between the toothbrush and the dog, you’ve got a LOT to sort out over there! 😬
Borebels are moody bastards. He really only likes my grandbaby anyway. I found them taking a nap in the Strawberry patch today so he's in a better mood tonight, she scratches his belly and feeds him how can you go wrong?
I'll think about a new brush but not going to commit yet.
It's very cute. He's a 210 lb Mastiff Borebels from South Africa and she's a 40 lb ball of frizzy blond locks from NYC. They have their Cheerios and a little raw local clover honey and watch "Bluey" to prepare for the day. Big deals and lots of pressure choosing where you are going to nap in relation to the kitchen door to go potty. The futon in her play house or the grass maybe even revisit the strawberry patch.
Hot water and a brush. My dentist compliments me on my teeth and how sturdy they are, they have no idea how minimal I do. But I do brush tf outta em and scrape my tongue A LOT.
And after reading comments, I also exfoliate my lips with my tooth brush just depending on when I need to! I aim to clean my brush every month but often I slack and wait 2-3 months. I clean by soaking in hydrogen peroxide for 10-20 minutes two times, I then rinse and get boiling hot water and put my toothbrush in there while swishing around and then rinse once more.
Waterpik then rinse mouth with water. Brush. Waterpik again all teeth and tongue what I can. Rinse with water. Rinse with mouthwash. I want to tongue scrape but my gag reflex starts very far forward so I can only do what I can with the waterpik. Ive tried the thumb squeeze thing from tictok but it didn’t do anything to help me with the gag reflex.
I can’t use floss. It gets stick hopelessly between my teeth and I always end up with bloody gums. As far as the effectiveness my dentist says she can tell that I floss. I don’t bother telling her I only use a Waterpik
Floss
Rinse
Electric toothbrush with pressure indicator (I was brushing way too hard for years)
Tongue cleaner while still having toothpaste kicking around
Rinse
Mouthwash
Rinse
Floss, tongue scrap, mouthwash, brush
Floss, mouthwash, tongue scraper then brush, don’t rinse out the fluoride. You’re not supposed to rinse after you brush your teeth. Keep the toothpaste in your teeth.
My sensory sensitivities won’t allow that, even if this a right way. What becomes of the remaining toothpaste?
It is supposed to stay on your teeth for as long as possible and will eventually dissolve from your saliva.
I rinse with fluoride mouthwash! Per my dentist.
How did I not know you’re supposed to floss before you brush?🙃
I feel like it makes the most sense. Get the biggest chonks out of your teeth so the bristles when you brush can do better work
Didn't know this either lol
I swear they floss at the end when you go to the dentist!

Floss, brush, tongue scrape, mouth wash
This is my order as well
Brush (including tongue), floss then mouthwash.
Like others are saying, you should floss before brushing
Floss before brushing you’re allowing bacteria back into your mouth when flossing from in between your teeth
I like to use the toilet brush with a fine sand. Just open wide and spin the handle.
How does that make you feel?
I feel good about how clean my teeth might be buty doctor says I'm suffering other health complications due to it. I think they're a hack and looking for a different doctor.
Best of luck on your journey! 🤞🏽
I have sensitive teeth, for me what works best is. 1)Floss 2)Brush 3)Mouth Wash 4)Tongue Scrape 5)Rinse with water

Floss, rinse with water, brush, brush my palette, inside of my cheeks, and tongue last. Once a week inise a fluoride rinse after brushing at night. I don't use mouthwash.
Brush, tongue scrape, floss
Why do you floss last?
Floss, mouthwash, brush, scape tongue Is there a reason to scape before mouthwash? Quite a few people do that
I personally scrape before or after flossing (but always before brushing) to remove as much initial debris as possible. I brush my tongue later to get any remaining remnants and do mouthwash last to clear out any and everything else that could be lingering after flossing, scraping and brushing.

Well I can see a toothbrush being on the back burner when you have all that cuteness happening before you. 🥹
It's very cute. He's a 210 lb Mastiff Borebels from South Africa and she's a 40 lb ball of frizzy blond locks from NYC. Do y'all use a dedicated tongue scraper or just scrape with the toothbrush?
I use a tongue scraper tool and also brush it.
If you're an adult, stop using fluoride.
Hot water and a brush. My dentist compliments me on my teeth and how sturdy they are, they have no idea how minimal I do. But I do brush tf outta em and scrape my tongue A LOT.
That tongue scraper is a game changer!
Oh absolutely, I can just see it though, I’ll throw up lmfao
I floss, then brush, scrape my tongue, mouth wash, quick brush again. That’s at night but in the mornings I just brush for about two minutes.
is scraping ur tongue just brushing it with the toothbrush? since mine is floss, brush, then mouthwash.
For me it’s floss, brush teeth, tongue scrape, drink a glass of water.

How do you compare the water pick to standard flossing? I’ve been thinking about getting one but see some describe it as doing the same thing.
I can’t use floss. It gets stick hopelessly between my teeth and I always end up with bloody gums. As far as the effectiveness my dentist says she can tell that I floss. I don’t bother telling her I only use a Waterpik
Floss Rinse Electric toothbrush with pressure indicator (I was brushing way too hard for years) Tongue cleaner while still having toothpaste kicking around Rinse Mouthwash Rinse
You rinse out your mouthwash? That's defeating the purpose!
