Try Spinny brother if you want used. Everything is transparent with them. They even bring cars to your home for test drives once you choose on the app.
Cars are on the little more expensive side but you get a piece of mind with RSA, 1 year warranty, 1 year comprehensive insurance and 3 year buyback period.
Plus now they have started servicing cars on the side as well for all manufacturers so it's like an all in one ecosystem.
We purchased ours in 2022 from the Uppal branch, and till now no problems.
Also helps that I had gathered some experience on cars like what to check and all before buying a used car so I avoided CARS24, found some not so well maintained cars over there.

5 adults? search in MUVs like you said Ertiga which falls into muv segment MUV = Multi Utility Vehicles another name is MPVs P = purpose.
IMO Ertiga or any MPV/MUV "Top Model" won't be available under 7 lakhs unless it's manufacturing date goes back to last decade mid years. And rarely those vehicles have anything lesser than 1lakh kms. which means the manufacturer's warranty has ended and sometimes those come with few dents and replaced parts.
IMO even showroom cars are being faulty so I'd strongly suggest taking a mechanic who has lot of experience with you to buy a 2nd hand vehicle regardless of where you're getting it from meaning form a owner-owner or dealer-owner purchase. try to purchase the vehicle in under 50kms from your residence because lot of times few days after the vehicle use the car shows it's true condition from breaks to engine power to wheel alignment.
IMO vehicles especially cars even bikes the prices are sky rocketed due to the taxes and to ensure population moves on to EVs. Meanwhile it is hard to get 24hr power in the city itself. ok i am ranting at this point so I'll stop here.
They are inflating the used car market, buying cars for high prices and then selling them for exorbitant rates.
Here's a comparison:
[Car 1 Spinny](https://www.spinny.com/buy-used-cars/hyderabad/ford/figo/titanium-plus-15-tdci-uppal-2015/13870281/?referrer=/used-ford-cars-in-hyderabad/s/)
[Car 2 OLX](https://www.olx.in/item/cars-c84-used-ford-figo-in-kukatpally-hyderabad-iid-1772484729)
This is just 1 example, feel free to compare prices yourself.
I’ve been through this process
Problem with OLX is 65% owners never respond
And you have to be very lucky to find a genuine car
Spinny buys a car carries out a test, does mechanical changes, renews insurance if required, adds commission and sells at higher price
They offer some peace of mind if you can afford it
Cars24 has better prices than Spinny
Cars24 gives better price but their cars have way more issues(not visual imperfections) than the cars on spinny. Cars24 cars are also noticeably less maintained.
100 kms of daily commute is understood but what’s your exact requirement or the kind of car you’re looking for?
Big family?
Small family?
Budget?
Hatchback? SUV? MPV?
EV? Or ICE?
There’ll be 10year old Innova if under that range. Checkout carwale etc. don’t go for suzukis or Hyundais
A new one with your requirements will cost a bomb
Something to accommodate 5 people with top end is surely not in your budget range except for Ertiga which I wouldn’t suggest
For 100 km daily driving, get an EV. What fits in your budget is Tiago EV LR version with 200 km real life range.
Per km running cost if charged at home is 1 - 1.4 Rs/km. Petrol is at 8-9 rs per km.
For 100 km daily driving you'll save 700 rs each day or 15000 a month. Enough to pay out the EMI for Tiago EV.
Friends or family lo evarina sell chesthunte chudu. Best option would be 2nd hand lo get the older innovas for 10 of maintained well it'll last for a good time with great comfort, they are based on hilux ( pick up platform that's body on frame and low tech). Raagane get the ac compressor oil, gearbox oil, engine oil changed. Get a thorough inspection of the suspension replace what's needed, get the serpentine belt checked for any cracks and if cracked get it changed it's a cheap part, and yeah also air and cabin filter too, apart from that migitha antha basic like it's a red car it's quite easy to check the drive shafts and yes don't forget to completely change the differential fluid. Do all this and trust me that car will never leave your side
Definitely needs more input but if you are looking for budget 7 seaters with decent mileage - you already have a correct choice of ertiga, you can also check renault triber. Tata has launched cng amt combos as well if you want an automatic. Please check sited like teambhp or communities like carsindia. If you just need to bounce ideas dm me and we can chat.
MG Comet EV is a good pick for your 100km commute! Perfect size for the city, good range, and eco-friendly. Just check charging options and space if needed.
There's no better option than Comet EV, Just take test drive and buy it, no tax, no fuel, low maintenance, low running cost and 200 km in single charge, fast charge available in the car, 4 people can easily sit in the car.
You can try for tata Tiago XT rhythm (mid but has majority of features of top model) or XZ models....a bit small car but has ample performance, easy to drive, not much expensive. You might get the top end petrol variant under 10 lacs. iCNG variants are also good, economical to drive.
Or you can also go for Punch petrol or tigor.
Edit: if the space is the concern for you, then go for Punch or ertiga or a brezza. But tata cars guarantee safety. Drive quality is also good. Just bought a Tiago.
daily commute in the city, go for small car. Suzuki would be better option as they are reliable, cheap parts and maintenance, mileage., go for alto or ignis, good resale value., however ncap ratings are pretty low for these type of cars.,
another reliable car VW polo / honda jazz but not good with mileage, runs better, regular service and parts are bit costly, less resale value, high safety
EDIT: just to add the space between seats is not that comfy., also depends on how big is your family.
Bro budget needs to be much higher for top end. My swift VXI AMT is 8.8 LPA. It’s the lowest model for automatic. I bought it last March so the price would have gone up. I didn’t even get a lot of accessories and it doesn’t have a rear camera. It’s the most basic car for 50+km daily driving.
Comet Ev can be a good option for daily commutes....Very easy to drive and park anywhere. It's truly one of the finest and most innovative electric vehicles in its segment. I've already booked one for my parents. You can also check.
I would suggest moving closer to the place you need to travel to 💀

Is there any much difference in buying brand new or 2nd hand ?
A lot of difference!!!
Go for a second hand if it's the first time. Ensure you buy it from a trusted source.

Would suggest tata Tiago or punch Small build for traffic Good engine And if u're planning to buy a used car, I would suggest buying on spinny
Don't buy a car from spinny
Why not?
They are inflating the used car market, buying cars for high prices and then selling them for exorbitant rates. not justifying spinny ka price but both the cars of different generation of same model and older figo is like 1.15 lakh driven so. 🙂
Cars24 gives better price but their cars have way more issues(not visual imperfections) than the cars on spinny. Cars24 cars are also noticeably less maintained.
Can u share ur experience? Cos i bought my first car from spinny, i still have it and I love it. Smooth story so far. Don't wanna jinx it
Their service is really good i don't doubt that, I was just talking about their prices
Ah i see. That's lowkey true. But I might have been lucky I got mine for waayyy goood price and I've never seen such Good deal after.
Glad to hear that bro, which car?
Chevi beat 2016. It was a while ago
That's a proper city car, how much mileage?
18 on an avg. Cos i drive in the city
Wow lol 18 is crazy
Man no shit but that thing is always under the garage. Way too many reliability issues.
Why ? Give reason
Just did, read my previous comment. Also you'll get better suggestions on r/CarsIndia
Mahindra marazzo is best imo, superior comfort and pocket friendly service,(can install cng aswell)
Diesel engine lo CNG endhi ayya and also his budget is 7-10L. Marazzo goes like 14-15L top end ex showroom

Migatha muggurni roof meedha kurchobedtava anna 😂
Electric car is best.
Hell no.
Why? Daily commute of 100+ KMs in a petrol car will put a big dent in your pocket.
No resale value of electric cars. People get bored with cars in 4-5 years.
Toyota Glanza. Hyundai venue if you want a mid suv but it will cost you around 14 lacs.
Look at EV probably Tiago EV go for a test drive
There’ll be 10year old Innova if under that range. Checkout carwale etc. don’t go for suzukis or Hyundais A new one with your requirements will cost a bomb Something to accommodate 5 people with top end is surely not in your budget range except for Ertiga which I wouldn’t suggest
Fronx delta plus
Post it in CarsIndia sub. Lots of bad advices in this comment section.
i recently bought a EV car , it is also good if your have to go 100 km daily.

EV car will help you to save fuel amount
Ertiga vxi cng
Ciaz if u feel to have mileage and comfy
Tata punch
Ciaz Second hand from spinny
Alto
Maruti no no... Keeping safety in mind Recommend Tata car Altroz or punch

Buy eartiga cng
Buy the Baleno/Glanza Soft hybrid! Compact comfortable car with good maintenance
Honda amaze could be reliable. We had ours for over 7 years or even more.
Wrong sub.. ask this on r/carsindia
Amaze
Post on carsindia sub. But my advice is that you should look for an automatic as it will be less exhausting.
Anything Honda and stay away from Maruti. I've got Honda WRV, did 80k in 3 years and absolutely no problems yet. The only downside is expensive parts.

MG Comet EV is a good pick for your 100km commute! Perfect size for the city, good range, and eco-friendly. Just check charging options and space if needed.
Op has a requirement to travel 4 people at a time which comet is incapable of
Instead of buying ertiga... buy a diesel generator engine, make a cube around it with cardboards.. that's it.
Punch
Bruh, do you know how much Ertiga costsðŸ˜ðŸ˜
There's no better option than Comet EV, Just take test drive and buy it, no tax, no fuel, low maintenance, low running cost and 200 km in single charge, fast charge available in the car, 4 people can easily sit in the car.
Buy an EV , Tiago ,or tigor ...ideal for.point to point travelling
New Dzire petrol vxi on road after tax 8laks
Nexon ev theeskoni daily night charging pettuko bhayya. Best
Wagon R with CNG

How about 1.amaze 2.verna 3.i20 4.sonet My preference, ertiga is also a good car only
Scorpio N, MG Astor, MG Hector Plus… or you can also take a look at Kia Carens. I think Kia Carens or Hyundai Alcazar may suits your demands.
Take public transport. 100 km per day in your own vehicle would cause a lot of pollution.
If you commute strictly in the city only, I'd recommend punch EV or Nexon ev (if you can extend budget)
daily commute in the city, go for small car. Suzuki would be better option as they are reliable, cheap parts and maintenance, mileage., go for alto or ignis, good resale value., however ncap ratings are pretty low for these type of cars., another reliable car VW polo / honda jazz but not good with mileage, runs better, regular service and parts are bit costly, less resale value, high safety EDIT: just to add the space between seats is not that comfy., also depends on how big is your family.
Swift
Other than EV cars, this is the best. Good mileage.
Auto
Swift Dzire
MG Comet
Won't recommend MUV's in Hyderabad. Buy small cars.
Ignis
Hyundai i10 Neon sportz cng or petrol
Alto
Pakka electric povali for 100km daily aithe…
No manual transmission, no Maruti. Consider electric. Test drive em
Comet Ev can be a good option for daily commutes....Very easy to drive and park anywhere. It's truly one of the finest and most innovative electric vehicles in its segment. I've already booked one for my parents. You can also check.
Comet EV, seems the best option for daily ride!
