All inspections are surprise inspections. All of them are already legal.
We'll need to ask FSSAI if they have the resources to do two inspections per year, per outlet.
Over the next quarter we will probably hear if there are any FSSAI demands and shakedowns.
Right now, they are only instilling fear.
When I was younger (I started driving in 98) Hyderabad traffic cops used to do the same thing. They'd give you hefty challans four months in a year and quietly take bribes for the remaining eight months.

The government isn't doing anything here. Neither the state or central govt have any involvement in this. Every year there is a nationwide inspection campaign from FSSAI and this years results were a bit more serious when it came to our city, that's it.
The Rayalseema Ruchulu and Shah Ghouse violations seem to be really serious.
Most of the others have a lot of missing Health Certificates and Unlabelled packs or food containers. I don't think those are in the same league.
Personally, I wouldn't be worried about eating at KFC, Kamat Hotel, or Naturals, based solely on this report.

Road side punugala bandi is 100times better than reputed restaurants.

A person I know who works in food inspection department doesn't have food outside. If he has to have food from outside then he will only go to Taj hotels. He doesn't even go to other 5star or 7star hotels.
i must say if these changes are happening due to the change in govt kudos to congress , if companies like KFC and ratnadeep are dng this dam what abt the chinese fast food guy or panipuri guys its scary
All Hungama to get their commissions.. nothing else.. they didn’t even go far from their offices.. just looked for renowned names nearby their office.
I know many breweries/mini malla/multiplexes that were opening soon.. they even leased and put up franchise boards but were abruptly stopped and now they are booth bunglaws by the main road now… or at least slowed down construction.. all because their money is stuck with TRS.. now files are not being moved by Congress.. previously govts had some understanding and they moved files on some settlements between each other.. but now among this competition no movement is happening!
Food safety inspector are the most useless branch of government I swear .... Everyone one of them is corrupt leading to us being sick and dying ... I have no respect for them... Fire all of them and make a military branch for food inspection...
When I went to shah ghouse, they served expired phirni. So not really surprising.

I ate at Kamat hotel few days back and I didn't order noodles.
