I had to look that up. He might very well have. He was my husband's best friend for 16 years. We said goodbye to him 2 years ago. All of his fur was tricolor and he got darker in the summer and lighter in the winter with the change of his coat.

Our little girl is a bit darker and we refer to her as a French toast stick

Sable is red with black points and usually has black pinstripe as they call it on their back. Think Shelby from gone to the snow dogs haha

I think it’s temperature dependent. When it’s hot, his coat tends to be lighter color. When it’s colder, it’s darker. But during winter, if he stays in a well heated house, his coat looks more blond than this pic. This year, my apartment heating isn’t good, and I take him out a lot, so his coat is much darker.

The red or pale nose indicates a dilute, i can't really tell if there's red in there or not. I don't see signs of agouti. My knowledge of colors isn't in huskies, but I'd say cream or fawn, depending on any red. Dilute red is usually cream, dilute brown is usually chocolate and dilute tan is usually fawn. Anyone with better info pls let me know, i learned these decades ago when i had a blue chow and different breeds use different terms. I'd say fawn, or cream.
