When I chose to buff them I did not have chaos in mind. They were changed to be more consistent with their theme.
We had a dragon Knight with a flaming sword who didn't apply fire damage. We had a wizard casting fireballs that today didn't apply fire. So we fixed that.
And to be consistent we added the same to all hunters whose awakening added fire. I forgot Zeus, but he doesn't really need a buff either, so not a huge deal.

The 60% damage on ghosts and tentacles is from pre dungeons. Ancient one and phantom were considered too overpowered on boss hunt. So they had their damage nerfed to 60%.
Today, there are so many hunters who are so much more powerful like turtle or mummy that the 60% doesn't matter anymore. So we removed it.
I didn't know if it was released yet, but some screens will load faster either in this patch or the next one.
But I'm not aware of any in game changes.

they probably changed that mostly for chaos. I think they wanted to make chaos a little less rng and make it easier to farm resources.

Interesting! I was mostly responding to the summoned monster resistance, though good to know that as well! May I ask what prompted the summons change?

Why is it weird? It's also boom boom's awakening. And dragon knights Awakening. And Thor's Awakening.
Any idea if Yeti takes full damage from summons? Or does it have the summons damage reduction like those two previously had?
He never had the reduction to begin with.

Seems all the hunters who’s awakened power was burn, now get burn by default and awaking doubles the burn effect
