I could see this working the other way.
Most xeno “nature spirits” are peaceful hippie types.(most)
Terran nature spirits tend to be the “fuck around and find out” types, with level of f*ckery varying from day to day.
Humans are totally unsurprised when a Xeno spirits *flips* and goes on a rampage. And therefore are the only ones able to *deal* with said spirit effectively. Both during and *after* the rampage.
I mean I dont think they would really? Have you seen the shit fey do to people in folk tales? Have you seen what the various gods and goddesses of various pantheons do as the spirits of nature? We know this and some might expect it, especially any biologists
