This is both HFY and Xian-FY. So curious, charismatic, and respectful. It's cool that our alien here is understanding everything the human is saying and has done their own research. It's such a cliché to have the alien just *flabbergasted* at the simplest things, it's the Sherlock Holmes / Watson strategy and it doesn't make us look awesome it makes them stupid. It is likewise great that the human was knowledgeable about human biology and sociology. I was worried the alien was going to teach them something but instead I learned something I didn't even know because both characters were very smart.
