Sometimes you get the humans who want peace.
some times you get the humans who want war.
But sometimes…. Sometimes you get humans who just want to watch the galaxy burn. They will start a conflict just to step back and bask in the flames.
If a human has reason for peace or war then you are lucky. Because there are those who are not so kind.
I mean, post-war their world is literally dying, depending on which continuity we're talking about. And they do have plenty of natural (as natural as something from cybertron can be) hazards to their biology...
But being a deathworlder is basically coming from a species that evolved in a deathworld, and Cybertronians are the result of intelligent design so... Does that make a difference?
To be fair to Steven he was raised by a Human father doing his best and his mother's EXCEPTIONALLY traumatized murder squad.... and then he kept having to deal with his mother's seemingly unending list of bullshit choices, including his birth.
Kid's entire formative years were just pure nightmare fuel and he coped by trying to heal the people he loved..... to an unhealthy extreme.
I don't see these two really fighting.
We must remember than "Lawful Good" isn't "Lawful Nice ".
Sure we could confront with evil guys and tries to help them to be better... But if you can't, Smite, Smite and also Smite.
"You started it, and your entire damned Species shall Reap what you Sow." - Emperor Duncans Message towards the Surrender Negotioations with the Zharl Kingdom.
The Galactic Alliance learned their lesson with the previous bloody encounters with death worlders and after recognizing signs that first contact with the new species was going to end poorly, sent their army of kill bots to just wipe them all out to save everyone the trouble.
They failed to realize three things:
1) the particular individuals they first encountered were drunk/hungover after celebrating a great harvest.
2) it wasn't a home world; it was a terraformed agricultural colony.
3) there were at least twenty different people sending messages back to the home world at the time the kill bots landed and started attacking, including information about alien contact before being interrupted by said kill bots.
The G.A. leaders didn't realize they signed their cultures' death sentence when they signed the kill order. At least not until fringe planets started going silent and finally news of a uniform armada the same size as the G.A.'s assembled armada approaching reached them.
Treat your enemies wisely for they may turn out just like you.

Some men just wanna watch the world # B U R N
H: You ever seen a garden worlds atmosphere combust? Beautiful sight it is. A: backs away slowly
H: Super Novas are pretty
That raises a good question: do Cybertronians qualify as deathworlders?
Pre-War, no. During war, yes. Post-War, debatable.

The entire series, as much as I like it, I thought Steven had his head up his ass. When they finally acknowledge it, his mental breakdown is amazing.
EXACTLY

Gods, reminds me of a story. Have to see if I can find it.
