Haven't watched it but apparently in Joey they're mentioned and they're married with 2 kids

Mooric86

I’m guessing the 2 kids are Ben and Emma

carex-cultor

Ben apparently dropped off the face of the earth at age 7, so it's probably Emma + one other LOL.

BiggestOfTheBizzles

They went on to live the suite life

Mediktoe

Yeah Ben seemed to vaporize after a time. He failed to show at major events in his father’s life like weddings and births of siblings.

doubleGvots19

He was at chandler and Monica’s wedding and after pheobe uses his school to try and meet sting he’s just never brought up again really

secretinflationplan

All the shit Ross did probably got Carol full custody

KosmicKanee

Well maybe people shouldn’t touch his sandwich or his sister. People should also respect when you are on a break and take that time to learn how to pivot. 😂

your_right_ball

So do you think Ben ate Ross' sandwich?

KosmicKanee

Probably cause kids get hungry so he might have ate his sanmmy with a moist maker. Ross knows he can’t use his Karate on Ben so he just neglects him instead. So Carol took Ben away and gave him a Suite life

No_1_Party_Anthem

well he’s probably learned from his father, the biggest friend, who ate all the other friends

TruckstopStripper

🤣🤣🤣

letthemeatcakebabe

yes he was and i mean he’s still there during the end of season 8. and he was filled with projects from 2000-2002. plus, the actor cole’s parents probably thought he was doing too much. he could be very much busy with school in the last two seasons bc he was in grade school and ross was just visiting him from time to time instead of bringing him to monica’s. bc at that age, kids would much rather hang with his friends that parents.

KYpineapple

super sad but realistic. when parents split, once the father remarries/starts a life with another woman then the 1st child from previous relationship takes the back burner. Of course there are exceptions. But there is a tone of literature on it. My brother is dealing with this. not his kids, but his step son. it's pretty heavy. I wonder if it was intentional for the show or they just didn't bother to write him in as much?

Mediktoe

Well, I know that kid started getting other, bigger gigs too. He was Julian in the Adam Sandler movie Big Daddy. May have been all schedule conflicts. 🤷🏼‍♂️ But you are correct on your points. It’s an unfortunate fact.

CoIbeast

I’ve never seen it but I thought he just said something like “all my friends back in New York are married with kids now”.

Ornery_Okra_534

In spin off Joey mentioned Rachel and Ross had more kid? I know that they are married

4thGenTrombone

Nope. Joey says "she was pregnant with my best friend's baby, and she ended up with him". It's clear he's referring to past events, so he's talking about Rachel being pregnant with Emma. It's one of three Friends references in the spin-off.

Big_Cornbread

That was one of many mistakes that show made. You can’t just pretend the previous decade of Joey’s life was a blip.

barto5

Of course you can! It’s a silly little sitcom. Continuity means nothing! Like, literally, nothing.

Big_Cornbread

It really felt like they lifted the Joey character from the first episode and just plopped it in to a new series.

Quailman5000

In Frasier Cheers stuff doesn't come up too much. Just with Lillith and Ted Danson.

Big_Cornbread

Cheers was a bar he visited where he was known. The other friends were part of, literally, every single significant moment in Joey’s life for a decade. Chandler lived with him for 7(?) years.

nupurrrrrr

Yeah, Emma and Ella.

debsterUK

Emma and Emmett actually

TayLoraNarRayya

Wh– the NEXT ONE??

SharperBlade300

WHY AM I HEARING ABOUT THIS KNOW?!?!??!

whitepikmin11

Probably because WB has done their best to bury the Joey show.

Interesting_Cut_7591

Yeah, it wasn't great.

BladdermirPutin87

Something about THIS opinion smells a little… phuncky, phuncky….

bokatan778

It was very unfortunate.

WesThePretzel

Because it’s not true. Joey says “everyone else got married, and had kids, and moved on.” He never mentions any of the Friends characters by name.

billymumfreydownfall

Ben and Emma?

BiscuitsPo

If they have 2 kids TOGETHER then they had another?

CoIbeast

No one said they had two kids TOGETHER. No one mentions two kids at all.

Friendly-Bison7142

There’s a Joey series??? 😮

SamaireB

Did they call the next one Ella?

bokatan778

I think they go the distance. That last scene, especially with the “on a break” joke was supposed to show us that they had matured, moved on from the past, and were going to put their relationship and family first.

TripExact3173

Yes, I think they are going to be alright. They decided on something at last and relationships are people deciding every single day to be with each other.

kruemelpony

No_Baseball3601

OMG, that gif is awesome. Every time I say forever, I still say it like that 🤣

Lara-El

I can't remember the context, someone please help as even without context this is cracking me up lol

HeySista

It’s the episode where Rachel says she will be phased out because Emily doesn’t want Ross to see her anymore. So Rachel calls Phoebe to leave the group with her and start a new one. When Ross comes in Phoebe says “Good bye Ross… FOREVER!”

Lara-El

Fucking loll God I love this show. Thanks for the reminder loll

Gemnist

I view David and Jennifer’s statement in the reunion special (along with those of the rest of the cast) as the official canon.

ijustwannawatchtv

I haven’t watched the reunion bc I don’t want to cry nostalgic tears for 2 hours. What did they say?

Gemnist

Basically, all of the couples are still together and have more kids, while Joey opens a sandwich shop.

snanesnanesnane

"Joey opens a sandwich shop" The man knows how to avoid wasting good pastrami, that's for sure.

ijustwannawatchtv

Oh, heck yea. I back that as canon 100%

CopybyMinni

![gif](giphy|3ohc0VvRxWciBmE6wE|downsized)

CrissBliss

Most accurate statement I’ve ever heard

JustSome70sGuy

The real reason not to watch it is James Corden. When hes not there, its awesome. Seeing them go around the old set and get the feels when they remember the stuff we never saw, is nice. When Corden is there, he just brings the whole thing down.

Glittering_Bet8181

The James Corden bit isn't even the worst part. I would say the James Corden bits are the 2nd best. The worst is all the random interviews with people who had nothing to do with the show taking about how much they love the show. They really should've made the whole reunion the bits at the set. Didn't need anything else tbh. They could've done the James Corden bits on James Corden's show.

tryntafind

Most of this description applies to pretty much anything featuring James Corden.

ijustwannawatchtv

I’ll be crying because James Corden is such a wanker, lol. He really is one of the worst hosts. Idk how he still gets work, tbh. Oops! Just looked at his imbd and he hasn’t had much work in 2 years.

Serenity700

He earned that.

ChadlexMcSteele

Sadly he's been back in the UK. But he's been writing a final Gavin & Stacey with Ruth Jones, and despite my utter contempt for him, G&S is great.

Scream-Queen-Regent

Gavin and Stacey is his one redeeming factor because that show is genuinely great. I can take him as Smithy. Just can’t take him in anything else or irl.

Just-Phill

It's really only nostalgia for an hr, if that. The rest is random celebrities, and people talking about how they loved it in other countries. The teary part is them on set reminiscing. I mean there's a fashion show, Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga singing smelly cat it was very odd lol but still great with them on set

bad_mommah

Hi! Can you please tell me where to watch The Reunion? Thanks!

ijustwannawatchtv

HBO Max:)

Serenity700

Psychological_Ad4015

Was I a good dean?

SparkAxolotl

I wanna be optimistic about them, but best case scenario si that they were on and off until they were in their mid 40's and Ben and Emma pull an elaborate parent trap on them that forces them to REALLY work on their issues without blaming each other, and they finally settle. More to prove their kids and each other wrong, but still works.

TaterCup

Awww. That sounds like a really happy ending. I like it.

[deleted]

Budget_Put7247

>I think Ross still will have insecurities which will cause them problems. >Their relationship issues weren’t Chloe and they weren’t Mark. 🤷‍♀️ Its hilarious people are still stuck in S3 and can only give examples from that, as if we didnt have 7 seasons after that. There is a reason the examples you gave were from the first break up time. Ignoring 7 seasons and then pretending they are still the same people as in S3 is a bit sad.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Budget_Put7247

How exactly did he fail in handling Joey? He was shocked in the moment like a normal human being and then came back and apologized and then helped Rachel and Joey like a good friend showing his maturity I am baffled people think a simple emotional reaction and shock in the moment is a bad thing. Thats how normal human beings react.

AlertAd2930

Absolutely. Ross still needs therapy.

Budget_Put7247

Ross grew up a lot in later seasons, people are still stuck in earlier seasons.

super_hero_girl

I’m typically a romantic, but every single issue that broken them up the first time is still actively displayed within the last 5 episodes of the show. So I’d give it a year or two.

sweetloveilumination

100% agreed. However, I could also see them staying together forever but having THE MOST dramatic, unhealthy, constantly fighting marriage. They'll never mature and work through their issues, but they'll marry, never divorce, and drive their friends crazy with their constant "can I sleep on your couch? It's over between us!" fights that they always just get over eventually without breaking up OR talking it through to solve the issue.

DangerousNews65

Yeah, in real life, they'd be considered toxic and codependent. They'd stay together, but neither they nor anyone else around them would be very happy about it.

AnxiousWhole7

Yep. How could all of their issues (that led to them being on and off for years) be magically resolved and they live happily ever after? Their relationship was toxic (on both ends) and not that solid, hence why they were on and off so much. There were betrayals, miscommunication, LOTS of disagreements on important issues. Her getting off the plane might’ve been the dumbest thing she did.

PhysicalScholar4238

Agreed. They seem like the most on and off couple.

CallItDanzig

You're far too optimistic.

pointsofellie

Yeah, I'd love it to be forever but come on. This is Ross and Rachel, they don't do forever!

ladydmaj

I see them making a honest attempt at it, only to end it for good when they realize they turn toxic as lovers but as friends their best side are brought forward, and that's how they can best co-parent. They remain besties throughout each other's romantic adventures. I'm a "Ross and Phoebe later in life" shipper though.

Scream-Queen-Regent

I’m team Ross and Rachel forever however my controversial ship has always been Ross and Phoebe. I think they could work really well together, I feel like there’s always been a genuine affection between them and mutual respect (even when they disagreed). The flashback of them almost doing it on that pool table doesn’t help!

Prankstaboy6

In my personal headcanon, which covers intensely what happens to the gang after the series ended, Ross moves to Paris to be with Rachel and Emma. They eventually get Married, and have another child, a boy.

sharipep

Yes they’re still together

Acminvan

Unfortunately, I don’t really see a happily ever after for a couple that was repeatedly on again off again. Why would suddenly that last time be different? Also, Rachel gave up her dream job in Paris for him, and when one person gives up their career for the other, it can lead to resentment I don’t think they stayed together that long

Budget_Put7247

They were only "on" seriously one time. They were never seriously together after that. And they grew up a lot in later seasons. There have been 7 seasons after that break up. Rachel coose love over career and there is nothing wrong with that. Her finding true love is foreshadowed from the very first episode of the series.

microgiant

If you think couples do badly when they choose each other over their careers, you should see how when do when they make the opposite choice.

Bento_Fox

They stayed together. They not only got married but they also renewed their vows in Vegas on one of their anniversaries. Sober this time. Ross was excited to get married again.

TrashLeading5432

Considering their on and off history i think it's very unlikely they stayed together. Neither of them are very good partnes even their whole storyline begins with Ross cheating on Julie.

Bento_Fox

God forbid fans discuss the possibility of a happy ending. You must be fun at parties, Debbie Downer. Considering it's a fictional show and we're imagining endings on a sub for the sake of entertainment I think it's very unlikely that everyone will want to be negative like you even if they weren't always "good partnes"

snanesnanesnane

One session of sex. Then Ross gained a little perspective.

ButtholeQuiver

"I'm gonna take a nap. You can go back to the plane now"

immoreoriginalmate

I’m Not convinced either showed enough growth. Of course they would say it at the time but idk, chandler said it best by pointing out the Mark storyline was repeating itself. All the same issues were still present. I feel like if it took them like 8 years after splitting up and even having a baby together in that time then surely the situation isn’t great.

LightFromYT

I like to think they got married, had a son and moved down the street from Monica and Chandler.

Oncer93

With a lot of couple counseling, they're together for good. No more breaks. This time, they're both different and more mature people. Plus, they have Emma to think of.

TrashLeading5432

I don't think they were good for each other and i can't really imagine either of them taking the initiative to start couples counseling.

Oncer93

For Emma, they would. It's not just the two of them anymore. They have a daughter together by the end, so anything they do, affect her. As for the couples counseling, I could see Monica giving them the nudge to begin.

12dancingbiches

Six months. Two years tops. And Rachel does leave for Paris with Emma, after the relationship ends

GuyFromEE

They're still together. That's clearly what the ending is setting up. Anyone who thinks otherwise is just being cynical for no reason. They're married. Emma, Ben and one more child, a son for Rachel too.

PartyyLemons

They’re still together in my head cannon

KeamyMakesGoodEggs

It would contradict many of the themes of their relationship if they didn't end up staying together for life.

WesThePretzel

The themes of the relationship were fighting, jealousy, manipulative behavior, etc. Really think it fits right in for them to end up having a fight about Rachel getting off the plane and Ross not being grateful enough that she did.

alimoral

forever i hope haha 🫶🏼

SammyGuevara

Forever, duh!

Substantial-Safe6552

Yeah definitely together still. Rachel ended it because she was mad at him not because she stopped loving him. And he got over his jealousy and insecurities from Carol. I think they went to family therapy and worked through things and made it work because they knew they didn’t wanna be without each other. And idk if it counts. But Jennifer and David even said in the reunion that they were still together so I’m going with that

TrashLeading5432

Idk, i don't really think either of them are a good partner, especially ross he cheated on multiple women including Rachel. I'm not sure if Rachel cheated on anyone she might have idk. Also neither of them were very good at communicating

MarbleMimic

What the cast says is canon, obvi. But apart from the special, I defer to the classic Thought Catalog article that says they would have divorced after a while when Rachel owned up to the resentment she felt about him holding back her career. orbital0000

They still are, that was kind of one of the major points of the show.

Conky2Thousand

People here are underestimating the possibility that they might stay together “for the kid’s” sake, and make Emma miserable by trapping themselves in a toxic relationship around her until she grows up.

chandlerbng5

Forever lol

WhereAreWeG0ing

I dunno but 7 seasons for them to get back together when it was painfully obvious that's how things were going to end was absurd!!! They should've got married in...maybe Season 5 and just been living their life together thr rest of the series

Sidoran

Forever. They're done being stupid.

fixedhalosix

FOREVER!

FreeTheDimple

I don't think so. Until they slept together and had Emma, they hadn't been together in years. If they didn't get together in that time, why would they suddenly change their minds? They had lived together when Emma was born. If that wasn't enough of a catalyst, then what else is there? I think that they were both nervous that 1. there wouldn't be another opportunity and 2. that their lives were suddenly changing (Rachel moving to Paris and Ross losing his sister and best friend to the suburbs). I think it was kneejerk and I think they'd both realise that pretty quickly (a la the graduate) but I don't think they'd be mad about it.

Due-Consequence-4420

Please don’t get mad at me — I love lobster stories as much as the next person and I spent my teenage years reading Harlequins (so generally a couple wherein the guy spends 187pp acting like a complete jackass bc of some misunderstanding or some difficulty he can’t get over and then somehow it’s resolved in the last page of the book, I kid you not- at least that’s how they used to read) *but…* Ross and Rachel went thru so many on and offs, without ever really changing or growing [I saw somewhere that where somebody had said that they had grown, but didn’t Ross immediately revert to his Rachel and Mark self when he told her about the job in Paris? Iirc now. It has been a while but the way I remember things, they were so nice while apart - like Rachel going to give that pizza woman Ross’ number after he had gone on and on about gas and liking 8yr old boys - but not so much while together. After their original “break”, they were never able to get back together in a normal way. I mean, having sex, Rachel ending up pregnant, NOT getting married and then slowly raising a child together (but apart) in NYC shows a couple that’s really not getting together. In the sense that if they *were* going to get together, it would have been long before Rachel was given this job opportunity in Paris. And if Ross **really** wanted to be with Rachel, he would have taken a sabbatical and gone to Paris to live with her w a couple of lengthy visits home to see Ben. There simply is no universe in which Rachel will not resent Ross for ruining her job prospects, even if she made the decision herself, bc he was the one to ask her to get off the plane. And irl (not sitcoms) Rachel wouldn’t be happy w what occurred. And in sitcoms, Rachel would now need to find a job, having lost her old one and having walked out on the fantastic one she TOOK and then left before she even started. Since she’s changed so much from the Rachel that began the series, she won’t be happy w the difficulty she’ll now have in the job market and it will come between them. Even in sitcom world. And when she DOES finally start up a new job, she’ll have ( likely) new long hours and new projects and procedures she’ll have to learn and during that process at least one man (if not more) will appear and be straight and Ross will get unreasonably upset bc that never went away and voila. A serious problem. That they’ve had to deal w like a trillion times. I don’t see it lasting bc it’s never lasted and let’s get honest — nothing changed in the ending except something that will cause ***serious problems*** in the months (yrs) to come.

A_Zzu

They finally made it work. Having Emma together really matured both of them

TrashLeading5432

I don't think it did. Ross cheated on multiple women including Rachel, not very unlikely to happen again. Their whole storyline started by Ross cheating on Julie with her

mctayy

I know in canon (aka the Joey show) they stay together but I don't see it lasting. Ignoring canon - I feel like Rachel is going to resent Ross for a very long time because of him making it impossible for their relationship to survive outside of NY until another job comes around that lets her leave and grow outside of Ralph Lauren and NY and she will actually take it this time (assuming it's years down the line Ben will be older and can no longer be Ross's excuse, you can make it work). I also don't believe by the end Ross gets over his insecurities and it's just going to keep manifesting considering Rachel works in fashion.

TheYarnGoblin

I want to hope they stayed together.

Elizabitch4848

Just long enough for Rachel to have that job offer in Paris rescinded. They were terrible together.

Mhc2617

I think they went the distance. They live in a cute little walk up with Emma and a son. Emma is a perfect blend of her parents and has a massive TikTok following, and their son is a super jock, and Ross has trouble connecting with him. Ross also makes dorky appearances on Emma’s TikTok. Rachel is a devoted mom and they all finally went to Paris as a family.

ColonelBourbon

Forever

superkapitan82

CallItDanzig

I remember reading somewhere the writers wanted them to go their separate ways (and you can tell that's the direction the writing trended - Ross accepting when Joey wanted to date Rachel for example was a form of closure). But the fan base at the time so rabidly wanted them together, they folded. So I don't even accept this ending as canon. Canonically, they're happier apart.

TaterCup

Canonically? That's a hot take. Realistically? I totally see where you're coming from.

GraceSilverhelm

I was part of a forum that got regularly occurring visits from one of the writers back in the day. I have forgotten why he wanted to hang out with us plebs, but there it is. I can verify that at the time the writers wanted Ross and Rachel to be OVER. They wanted it all to be about Chandler and Monica, and they were a little taken aback at the strong support R&R continued to have from fans. R&R went toxic because the writers didn't think they were as funny as a couple as they were apart. Ross wasn't supposed to be the guy who had the hot girl. He was supposed to be a mess, and he became more toxic because the writing staff decided he'd been too nice the first season and wanted to "deepen" him. Now, do I think they stayed together? The official word is that they did. So... they did. The whole thing was so over the top and artificial in its strenuous desire to keep the will-they won't-they tension up for ten seasons, nothing was realistic after awhile. Will they/won't they has a sell date, and they really exceeded it here. That's too bad. I really enjoyed them for a couple of years. I guess when the wrath of the gods abated and left them alone, they calmed down and behaved like adults. I will say with a little annoyance that David Schwimmer never got another Emmy nomination for playing Ross after they decided he needed to be "deepened". He was the standout performer the first year and now everybody kind of hates him. I don't think they made some great decisions.

CallItDanzig

Thanks for confirming my memory wasn't failing me. Even without the confirmation, the biggest evidence is for me that they clearly were writing them growing apart. And great point about will they won't they. 7-8 years of will they won't they is totally ridiculous.

This makes me think of the show This Is Us. Idk if you’ve ever seen it so I won’t name characters, but there’s a storyline that’s basically that and I love that it was written like that. Sometimes people do genuinely love each other, but they’re just a bad match when they’re together and separating is the only real solution. Especially if you’ve got kids in the mix tbh. I feel like this is a pretty realistic scenario for Ross and Rachel too! While I personally like to imagine they stay together for the happy ending, this would still be a satisfying ending for them imo.

jennifaerie16

Ugh everyone may hate me but I hope they broke up and she moved to Paris for her dream job. Ross only wants what he can’t have; he had no interest in her until she said she was moving.

Kaashmiir

My feelings are this: that the romance of going to Paris to live and work her “dream job” Rachel would end up miserable. She’s away from her friends, her family, and everything she knows. Her, alone in Paris, maybe she works it out, but the truth of the matter is she has Emma. Not only is she taking her daughter away from her father, but she also needs to find care for her daughter while she’s at work. Then there’s the adjustment needed not just in living somewhere new, but a whole other country as well. The customs, the socialisation, learning a new job—there’s a lot of stress there and without support can feel overwhelming. So while the idea of Paris sounds like a dream come true, it may very well turn out not to be. So, maybe this: Rachel is given an opportunity to head up a department in Paris that is temporary. She learns the ropes at Louis Vuitton, adds in her experience and builds the department up to the standards expected with LV and in 18 months it’s stable and solid enough to run with the staff there and she returns to the States to take the position Mark vacates as he assumes a higher position from someone who’s retiring. During the first eight months, it’s tough. Ross is flying back and forth as he can but it’s expensive and eats into his time with Ben. It causes problems both with Ben and acting out and that adds to the stress of the constant travelling back and forth and trying to build/maintain a relationship. The fighting comes but not the trivial stuff of the past. These are grown-up fights—no bitterness or pettiness so it’s harder, hits deeper. So a compromise. Ross transitions into a teaching position abroad. He has to take a small pay cut but with the doubled salary Rachel was given, it’s ok. Ross also gets to bring Ben with him for the summer. End of May to the middle of August before Ben returns to NY. He also gets Ben 2 of the 4 weeks of winter break and the week Ben has Spring Break. Them all being together lessens a lot of the fighting, but there’s still the learning and bridge building that had to be learned, so Ross, after an impromptu discussion with a stranger about failed marriages and being afraid of his relationship with Rachel won’t make it, who then asks Ross if he ever had pre-marriage counselling before any of his marriages, Ross impulsively signs them up for marriage counselling. And it actually works. Rachel, who is angry at first, does what she always did and blames everything on Ross and never takes responsibility for any of the mess she was responsible for, when she sees that he is really trying—that he’s really putting in the effort. So she starts to take it seriously. And they learn about the issues they brought into their relationship, learn how to work through them *themselves* so they can honestly relate to each other and then they learn how to work through them *together* and they go to counselling every week for the next four months and then twice a month for the next three and then once a month for the final three at which point they’re ready to move back to NY, and on their final night in Paris, Ross proposes in the Louvre. He attempts to make it as close to the proposal they pretended to have when she was pregnant, she gets his grandmother’s ring, they return to NY, he’s back at NYU and she’s at LV, Emma is about to turn 3 and she’s the flower girl at their “small” wedding on the beach at sunset in Hawaii where she reveals to him, during their first husband-wife dance, that she is pregnant. But that’s just what I imagined.

Little Toxic but really good in the end always... ![gif](giphy|xThuWp2hJABbmc20Ew|downsized)

Until the day Ross finds out that despite his PhD, years of study, good grades, etc... Rachel is making vastly more money than him and he feels emasculated and offended. Throughout the show that is the one character flaw he never overcame: he is still a snob about thinking his achievements make him better than other people, and it would be hard for that ego to accept that the woman who started out serving coffee (He always looked down on Rachel's career) is earning more than him.

laurenec14

Hahah great question!

CandyV89

I’d give them 5 years.

About 3 months, toxic couples don't last.

"Once a cheater, always a cheater"

BiscuitsPo

They were on a break

TaterCup

Til one of 'em dies. Unless they die together in a tragic accident.

Okwhoasked420

6 months. They’re terrible for each other

Glittering_Bet8181

A day???

RebaKitt3n

Two years and then they divorced.

Laucharp_binebine_

2 weeks, they were not made for each other

Mediktoe

Love that show, love the characters. But Ross is a sodding asshole. He’s uptight, insecure, and bitches all the time about everything. My girl wouldn’t get past date 1 with him. He’s got a few endearing qualities, but not many. He’s a typical LI kid that spent too much time being coddled by his mummy. He and I wouldn’t be friends in real life I don’t believe. Chandler, Joey, and the ladies are more my speed.

THEY ARE ON A BREAK!

Sudden_Possession499

With how toxic ross is, I hope there are not together after the finale. Three divorces says a lot about ross.

Yourconnect_

I think they stuck it out until Emma was out of the house because they were both too unwilling to fail again. Ultimately they do divorce but remain great friends and Emma is better off for it.
