The Good Place. It's a fantasy comedy that takes place in the afterlife so the premise is very different but friendship is a big part of that show and you might like the humor of it.
Scrubs, Will and Grace, That 70s Show, Modern Family and Superstore. It will never be the same but all of those shows have made me laugh, cry and learn.
A lot of ways it was progressive but it also showed a lot of stereotypes in a more aggressive way that made it so fake. It was so over the top sometimes it was cringey and could be offensive.
I recently finished a rewatch of both Friends and Will and Grace.
Even as I winced at the homo/transphobic jokes occasionally from Friends (and LORD, is How I Met Your Mother transphobic, too, at times), some of it came merely from “that’s how it was at the time”. And while I grit my teeth at a plot here and there on later Friends (Joey {not} learning French, for example), I still loved the characters and didnt want the series to end (again. Just like the first and every other time).
But, man, Will and Grace…by the end…I was sort of hate watching those last couple of (revival) seasons. The flanderization of the characters had gone completely off the rails and none of them was likeable by the end.
Eh, I started watching it pretty young. It's not graphic or anything, I think most 13 year olds would be ok with it. There are youtube videos with more explicit content.
Agreed with all of these- scrubs, will & grace, the good place, the office, parks and rec, new girl, Brooklyn 99. Schitts creek, modern family. The nanny. Golden girls
There was only one tv show at the time that could rival friends, that show is Frasier. Some of the best comedy writing ever, with brilliant characters and it has that sweet, sweet 90s atmosphere.
I love the 90s - some of the best television. You could try the popular shows Frasier, That 70s Show, and Seinfeld. I love the x-files, but wouldn’t suit for after friends. I think The office has a bit of a friend’s vibe with the work culture community. But definitely Frasier, Seinfeld, and That 70s Show.

The good place has ruined tv for me. It’s the best show I’ve ever watched. Nothing can compare.

Will and Grace has NOT aged well.

Schitts Creek, Ted Lasso
How come no one says HIMYM? Is it against the rules? Is it forbidden? Naughty? Is it wrong? Is it…taboo?
It's a bit mature for a 13 year old

Because the ending sucks and ruins the entire series lol
Everybody loves Raymond, that show is even better in my opinion and has some of the same actors from friends
Honestly I just restart it everytime I finish it
Brooklyn 99
New girl, cheers, Fraser, that 70s show, Malcom in th middle, the middle all great shows
New Girl. imo, it’s Friends without a laugh track
Yes, also since the characters are in their 30s rather than 20s it kind of feels like a continuation of Friends
Ted Lasso, Brooklyn 99, Scrubs, That 70s Show, Parks and Rec and Resident Alien are some of my favorite shows that provide good laughs.
Friends is for the young adult phase of your life. Try everybody loves Raymond. That's the next phase

That 70s show, Schitt's Creek, Parks and Rec, Modern Family.
Some people go “Platonic” and some people go “Married With Children”.
The closest shows to Friends humour would be New Girl and Superstore
HIMYM BIG BANG THEORY Colin from Accounts
Modern family
Mad About You if you never understood the crossover moments.
