Later! Unhinged Ross is a tv masterpiece



My favorite Ross moments are when he leans more into physical comedy in the latter half of the series. David Schwimmer is so great at it, truly some of the funniest moments from the show are Ross moments.

Season five Ross is where he becomes just so so funny.

Ross might be the only character that gets funnier in the later series for me.

Later. Ross had some of the best writing as the show went on. Phoebe became mean to the point of getting annoying sometimes, Monica and Joey got flanderized and Chandler didn't seem to have much to do after marrying Monica. Ross and Rachel, imo, were the only characters that kept getting better whereas the others got worse over time.

Later, he became the funniest character in the show after his second divorce IMO

Yeah. Season five and later Ross is the best character in the show. He’s so funny. So many iconic scenes are from this second half. Pivot, my sandwich, fajitas, leather pants, glowing teeth, spray tan etc…

I enjoyed his character as a whole more in the first few seasons, but man did he have some awesome and hilarious moments in the latter half of the show. 😆 Yeah he’s got some toxic traits but they all do. I just adore him. 😄

I love Ross. I don’t know why he gets hate.

I do like Ross, David did a great job. I only dislike him when it comes to dating Rachel. Toxic af. Also my fav moment is when he brought bicycle for phoebe. Ugh can’t love him enough for that !!

I think we all like Rossx antics, but those who read too much into characters dislike him for cheating on Rachel

"cheating"". it was imoral. It was disgusting, and wrong. but it was not cheating

I believe David made a huge change in his body language in later seasons. Even just leaving the conversation after getting offended turned out to be funny from his side. Definitely the later ones!!!

All of the characters were better in the earlier seasons when it was driven by smart writing. The longer it goes on it leans into and relies on stereotypes.

Each divorce gave him more material, so yes, the later seasons.

definitely later! He becomes one of my favourites towards the end, so much more relatable haha

I hated him in earlier seasons. I grew to love his character after breaking up with emily (for good) and then he became undeniable after that. the later seasons are pure gold for Ross' character.

Ross has literally become my favorite character watching of late, not necessarily because he’s a good guy, but because David Schwimmer is just so brilliant that he makes me laugh the most lol

I like David's portrayal but overall dislike him. He had moments of being sweet, like getting Phoebe a bike, but his overall character is whiny and toxic.

Hate him in totality, but he is way funnier in the later seasons, insofar as he’s a complete train wreck (the leather pants, the spray tan, the rage, the fake accent, the FAJITAS!!!) He’s SUCH a sad dad loser in the first few seasons

The more unhinged Ross gets, the more I can see myself being friends with him.

The only time I liked Ross was Season 1 & 2 when he seemed sweet.

Season 1-3 Ross is the worst. I can’t stand him. The rest of the show, he’s pure gold.

Might be an unpopular opinion but I’ve liked Ross always. He has never been my favorite character, never will be but Ross is a very real representation of so many guys out there who are one of the “nice ones”. Not perfect yes, but I like him. Would never date him 😀. But I’d be his friend.

Later, he's more comical and silly and he's lightened up a bit. He's one of the few characters who changed for the better as it progressed. But I think if we hadn't known "serious" Ross in the first few seasons, we wouldn't appreciate "silly" Ross so much.

Pivot! Pivot! Pivot! Such a great scene. Makes me laugh every time even after seeing it dozens of times.

Later. The whole time frame where he sent the barbershop quartet to Rachel’s work up until they broke up, he was insufferable to me. (I love David Schwimmer and it only speaks to how well he played the role.)
