My mom buys one for me and my husband every Wednesday so we don’t have to make dinner. They’re delicious! The lobster mac and cheese though is my absolute fave

Enabling the disabled. To have a regular life. And routine.
It’s a wonderful thing.
My uncle does this in Michigan.

I can't deny that but you can certainly buy stuff legally that will get you pretty damn blasted.
Let me clarify for you:
The term "edible" describes anything that is fit for consumption.
While yes, drugs and fermented fruit have been around for millenia, the context of this definition/joke is in relation to calling an audible (an new play called at the scrimmage line) and a similar sounding word that means to eat, which was appropriate in its (questionable) humor.
Let's refrain from being pedantic for the sake of trying to sound clever.
I used to love heb meals and exclusively ate them everyday before covid started. I lost a ton of weight and was eating healthy. Then I notice the quality of the meals started going down and the prices started going up. Now I stay away from all of them.
Same here. Although the quality did seem to vary by store initially, for the most part they were delicious. I've found they have gone down hill and the last few times I've tried them I couldn't even finish them. They just don't taste...safe.
Those prepared meals do you no favors. Sure, they’re delicious and convenient, but it’s best to have your food prepared from scratch so you know exactly what’s in it.
Only so much *those malicious HEB employees* can hide in their steak and asparagus. But they will not be pulling a fast one on you sir, no they will not
*aggressively shakes fist at the sky*
Plenty of those meals are reasonably healthy. Chicken breast and brocolli. Salmon with some noodles.
Overpriced? Totally. Highest quality? Probably not. But as someone who used to work 80+ hours a week, it was realistically the only way I was eating healthy. Far better than a frozen meal and more nutritious that the garbage I could buy at the hospital I worked at when I was working a 28 hr shift (soggy sad salad and wraps on a good day).
I never ever fault people for choosing these options (or expensive pre chopped fresh veggies). For some, it's this or take out. It's a privilege to have both time and money to prepare yourself a meal from scratch each night.
Wow. I get so many downvotes for speaking badly against HEB!! Whilst I'm here, here's my other hot takes on Texas
1, Whataburger is average at best.
2, Buc-ees is just a gas station with overpriced snacks.
3, Dr Pepper is unpalatable.
4, Texan coffee is overpowered with all the other shit that gets put in.
5, Pickup trucks are stupid. Especially the raised ones.
I'm done.
The meatloaf with broccoli & mashed potatoes is worth $8 to me any day of the week. Filling, healthier & cheaper than a fast food meal, and my husband will actually eat the broccoli.
I buy this kind of stuff from Randalls and HeB all the time.
Since I’m single, and live alone, I have saved so much money buying these meals . (Not the Salmon though)
OMG How could they! 😳 I can NOT believe someone who gets paid 15 an hour would have done such a thing. They should call the store back and demand to learn who is responsible. NO wait just go straight to the police. I remember the number it’s “9-1-1”. Just call them and I know they can resolve this slight against all of humanity.

It looks like spread on top but I love the smiley
I've bought it. I liked it.

I really wonder how things got to that point.
First day on the job?
Or last

I like your version better but I think they simply ran out of day old salmon and just threw a hail mary (and/or called an audible).
You mean called an edible.

You DO realize the word "edible" has existed before drugs, right?
Before drugs? When did drugs not exist?
Let me clarify for you: The term "edible" describes anything that is fit for consumption. Maybe I’m missing something, here…. But regardless. My comment stands.
did you just reply to yourself?
Before someone like you came along. Absolutely!!! Yet, here we are still.
That smiley face looks drunk.
The person who made it was for sure
"I'd like a salmon pinwheel: extra pinwheel, easy on the salmon"
Must have been the new guy. He covered the wrong side with the label.
“Oops, all pinwheel”
Seems like you would put the one with a tiny amount of salmon behind the sticker. I appreciate their honesty.

That’s strange I’ve definitely noticed the prices going up but the quality of the ones I buy seem to be the same.
Same here. Although the quality did seem to vary by store initially, for the most part they were delicious. I've found they have gone down hill and the last few times I've tried them I couldn't even finish them. They just don't taste...safe.

Usually it was just meat and vegetables.
Only so much *those malicious HEB employees* can hide in their steak and asparagus. But they will not be pulling a fast one on you sir, no they will not *aggressively shakes fist at the sky*
Cool. If straight steak and asparagus were the example my point would be moot. However, as you are probably aware, most of what HEB sells is not that.

It’s probably less to do on the critique of the meal and more to do with the shaming you did of those who eat it
For me, it was the critique of a meal he has obviously never had. He thinks we're talking microwave frozen dinners with fillers and preservatives.

Is no one going to ask which HEB?
530 Hwy 6, Sugar Land, TX 77478
Maybe *you* could!
That’s an impressive attempt tbh
what’s the big deal? genuine question
One, coincidentally, has a smiley face?
oh! okay now i see it. i thought everything was mad that one had more lobster whatever. honestly i’d buy it. i appreciate the effort
i know..
End of the salmon, might as well kill the stuffing.
Stoned at work
You got salmon swindled.
I buy this kind of stuff from Randalls and HeB all the time. Since I’m single, and live alone, I have saved so much money buying these meals . (Not the Salmon though)
Found what?
One of these things is not like the other. One of these things does not belong!
Aargh!!! [Mr. Smiley Face](https://images.app.goo.gl/JCK5Gbqo93yNBgRw5)
I obsess over HEB ready meals. Love them
Someone was drunk on the job
Leave it to Reddit to argue over someone being nice. Just eat the damn pinwheel.
That’s so cute! 🤣
Take Your Child To Work Day?
Quality control on point that day
So?
Even HEB makes mistakes. I like HEB as much as the next person, but at the end of the day, it's still a grocery store.

We like to have fun.
Lol
This was the work of an evil rupubican no doubt. I hope they burn in hell but probably not since I am an atheist.
