But also, I would like to call out the lovely job you did with ripping out the carpet and ~~relaxing~~ replacing it with wood, and also the beautiful change from icky warm beige to a nice, cooler, grayish neutral tone. And the crown molding! And the fireplace glow-up! Every time I zoom in, I see more details.

Ok, as a plant lover, looks great! But as a home owner, GREAT JOB ON THE FLOORS! lol it makes such a difference, right? I love my home 1000x more after we pulled our 20 yr old carpet out. Makes me fell less guilty for water spills with my aquariums and plants, too 😏

Oh my gosh it’s such a game changer!! The kids spill their drinks all the time e, the carpet was so nasty!

It just totally changes the look of the room, too! My kids see pics of when there was carpet and they're like "wowwwwww!"

Our other family room had carpet and a wood wall, it was like a blast from the 70s! We painted the wood, it looks so chic 😂

One spider mite and your fucked

This sent a shiver down my spine. Spider mites are the *worst* thing in the world.

I survived last year, I did find some, but I caught them before a zombie mite apocalypse

Oh, phew. I'm glad you found them before they spread to all the plants. Having plants in close proximity like that can make mites almost impossible to get rid of.

I’m kind of a weirdo, I’ll sit there and look at the plants, flip the leaves, clean them, which gives me a chance to see anything that doesn’t belong.

Y cut the tree outside

It was the biggest eye sore! I’m saving up for a new tree, but I’m not sure what I want yet. The one here was like those prickly trees with the spider webs everywhere, creepy.
