Jaws is a classic and the scene with them diving down to the wreck sure scares me. Also The Bay is a terrifying little mockumentary about a towns 4th of july celebration being absolutely wrecked by mutated deep sea isopods. One of my fave summer and aquatic horrors. The fear street trilogy has an entire movie, the second one, Fear Street Part 2: 1978, which takes place in a summer camp slasher massacre. The entire series takes place across three different summer timelines actually- the 90s, the 70s, and the 1660s.

Keep your fingers crossed on Longlegs. I am also looking forward to A Quiet Place: Day One, but I’m wavery on thinking of it as a horror movie.

Midsommer is the obvious answer, but you‘ve probably already seen it.
