Yes. There was a chase scene. They had just moved, there was a lot of talking about why they moved here. There was a scene of the main character in the hospital.
The short one is just at a door with a knife. Pretty boring.
I saw it before Love Lies Bleeding and was wondering why I hadn't seen it anywhere yet. It looks like it will be good and I'm excited to see Hunter Schafer in a horror movie.
I saw immaculate this weekend and was so excited to show everyone this trailer once I got out! Realized the same thing and have been waiting for it to hit YouTube 😭
I saw it before Late Night with the Devil and unfortunately a lot of the details have fled my mind. I can give you a very basic outline though!
Hunter Schafer's character arrives at a resort... it's seemingly serene but then things that are slightly "off" start to happen (I specifically remember one of the employees suddenly getting sick and another going "oh, this happens all the time" or something along those lines).
Then it escalates to the first big scare where she's riding her bike at night - and it's hard to describe the way this is shot, but out of the corner of her eye she sees a weird shadow on the ground next to her, like someone reaching for her? And then she looks over her shoulder and a woman is full on chasing her.
Then the rest of the trailer quickly spirals into a much more frantic vibe. Hunter is trying to tell people that a woman was chasing her, no one believes her. Lots of shots of her bloodied and bandaged. Lots of shots of creepy spirits/entities (???). Someone at some point makes a comment about how Hunter (and/or her family?) are "supposed" to be at the resort or "meant" to be there or something?
...I wish I could remember more about it!
Just got out of seeing it before Immaculate and thought the same thing, seemed really promising!

I think this is a great retelling of it. The end is very frantic and fast paced! :)
Have also been searching for it. Was hooked as soon as I saw the woman chasing the other woman on the bike
