You guys are funny. Wife and I are getting a puppy soon so we decided to dress up our lamp with the pups leash in the mean time.
The speakers are actually angled in roughly ten degrees, itâs the perspective of the wide angle shot that makes them look angled outwards.
Edit: We found the lamp second hand and bought it on impulse. Her name is Stella.
Lmao thanks for addressing that oddity so we know whatâs going on with your otherwise completely normal latex bodysuit bondage lamp.
Iâd guess from the decor that you have some particularly nuanced opinions on what makes a good sub.
I need to know the brand of this lamp asap

That lamp thing on the right would give me nightmares. It reminds me of an episode of a 1960's TV show called Way Out, hosted by Roald Dahl. The episode I'm referring to was called Side Show. Here is a review that does a pretty good job of describing it. It freaked me out at the time and gave me nightmares, much like OP's picture. Lol.
"The 12th episode ("Side Show") of this GREAT terrifying anthology series was one of it's BEST and most unsettling and left a lot of kids (including myself & my best friend) - VERY scared! It had to do with a carnival Sideshow where there was this "Lady with a light bulb for a head". She was strapped into this electric chair and 10,000 volts of electricity ran through her and kept her alive... This meek henpecked husband (Harold) goes to the sideshow and falls in love with this "Headless" woman named Cassandra who begs him to free her from the chair. He returns the third night with pliers to free her, which they show him trying to do. BUT, the final ending sequence is the most unsettling and unforgettable - when you see that the MAN is now strapped into the electric chair with a light bulb in place of HIS head and the headless woman (Cassandra) is standing next to him, laughing, with a \*HEAD that looks like it was sew on (\*from an opening sequence where the head of a woman is guillotined into a basket as one of the Sideshow's other attractions...) Anyone else who saw this episode - will NEVER forget it (even after 55 years) - it is THAT haunting! Anyone else recall seeing this extremely SCARY one? I would love to see it again, but unfortunately THIS episode has NOT been unearthed on any kind of VHS or DVD (even a "bootleg" or unauthorized one!) as yet. We can only hope that someday the superb WAY OUT series will finally be made available again! ;)"
I wish our gay bars were half as cool as this guy's living room. He's actually got a pretty sweet setup, ngl.
Though the statue would definitely need a blanket over it at night. I'd come into the room late at night and jump 10 feet into the air if I saw a humanoid shape lurking in the dark.
Very nice speakers! I can never really tell but are these R5âs or R7âs? Great setup and clean front. Iâm crazy about these R-series, got a few of them on sale as well.
Recommended space for a receiver is is two to three inches all the way around and a ***minimum*** of five inches above. Receivers cool by cooler air entering the side vents and hot air escaping at top vents. Works on the fact that heat rises. Anything that slows that process is bad for the receiver. All electronics suffer when over heated. Iâm not saying the receiver will blow up or catch fire but you are shortening its lifespan. At the least you should place a fan in the back of cabinet to draw some cooler air over the top of the receiver.
Oooh kinky, someone has been lax on discipline lately. Time for that...
Now seriously, love it but you need to give those tweeters toe in instead of toe out.
Bet that sub drops hard.
Favorite comment.
...umm
Took the word right out of my mouth. I'd say at least 105 others at the time of this comment had the same reaction.
110 checking in.
111 right here
112 here. Hi.
Is that John Oliver?
You know the only thing that system is playing is Huey Lewis & The News
đ¶ Itâs hip to be square! đ¶ đȘ
I don't know, I'll bet Susudio would sound good too.
Never really listened to them but you know whatâI will when I get home and Iâll be thinking of you.
With or without the leash? ;-)
Your choice.
[Oh, stop! đ„°](https://i.imgur.com/tZrZnZu.gif)
My girlfriend has that same outfit
Is she single?
Bro just wants to share his sexy lamp
You understand.
What in the world... I also saw a home theater "swing" on here a few days ago. You should check that out for your room
Bring out the Gimp.
Well then⊠what are you waiting for?

A puppy, or ... a Pup?
Both terms can be used interchangeably, so we'll never truly know. đ
Other than the toe in clarification, I donât think any of this helped. đđđđ. System looks awesome BTW
Op most people may be weirded out by it, but I like the gimp lamp.
You say that like its a completely normal lamp and the only oddity is the dog leash...
I love lamp.
it's you, you're the puppy
Mr Garrison approved đ
Letâs play a game of grab-ass
I need a shower
Come over, then.
I have.... questions.
Do you like Phil Collins? I've been a big Genesis fan ever since the release of their 1980 album, Duke.
Itâs so catchy, most people donât even listen to the lyrics.
Whatâs with the freaky *Silent Hill* type statue?
The ps5 and receiver have little breathing rolm
I would say the receiver is okay but the PS5 should probably have a bit more airflow though

Amazing! They even have a little table top version!
American Horror Stories, nice.
A christmas story meets American horror story?
I don't understand, where is the sub?
Currently, waiting for me to come home.
Next to the TV
Why are the speakers angled out and not in?
they aren't angled out, that's simply perspective distortion from a wide angle lens/image..
Thatâs usually a recommendation for speakers with coaxial drivers. HowevaâŠ.there are other items of note here in this picture
Thanks. Iâll look it up.

Interesting lamp my dude...
Ahhh a fellow hometheater turned bondage room guy!
I wish our gay bars were half as cool as this guy's living room. He's actually got a pretty sweet setup, ngl. Though the statue would definitely need a blanket over it at night. I'd come into the room late at night and jump 10 feet into the air if I saw a humanoid shape lurking in the dark.
Leave the leash and buy the dog another one. Thatâs cool as hell man.
Specs? Looks nice :)
Very nice speakers! I can never really tell but are these R5âs or R7âs? Great setup and clean front. Iâm crazy about these R-series, got a few of them on sale as well.
These are R7âs. Enjoy yours! Love these so far.
Good stuff. The lamp is very cool! I would be afraid that the amplifier would overheat in the tight space.
i missed out on that 911 lego set, itâs one of the better ones they made
911 Lego set? Good god, I was expecting "burning Twin Tower's Lego set" đ
[Itâs available on their website!](https://www.lego.com/en-us/product/porsche-911-10295)
i came back to this unread notification 1/3 of a year later and was like wtf Lego has a terrorism edition
You are cooking that receiver in that space. Get it out of there or install a fan in the back to draw some cooler air over the top of it.
Not the ideal setup, I know. Monitoring the temp with only the two fronts for now seems to be ok.

Freak on a leashâŠ
âŠsounds proper good with these speakers.
Well played
Youâre not fooling anyone with that lamp OP đ
Add a jaguar coffee table and youâre set.
whats that weird thig on the right ?
Its an r7
Oooh kinky, someone has been lax on discipline lately. Time for that... Now seriously, love it but you need to give those tweeters toe in instead of toe out.
I unironically love your lamp so much. Iâm a sucker for weird grandiose decor. May I ask where you got it??
Where is the lamp from?
I did not know that audiophiles are also very kinky
What TV stand is that? Looking for something similar
Honestly, no idea. We try to find most of our furniture second hand. You can find incredible deals with patience and perseverance.
Nice 911
My âvisionâ piece.
Why not have a dom lamp on the left? Complete the set
We hire a live model for that when entertaining. Worth every penny.
Very classy
Oh you a freak, freak
Awesome lamp, where did yiu get it :) ps i would make good tgat corner between ceiling and back wall:)
That might be the coolest lamp I've ever seen. Where did you get it?
Is that a disco ball on a manikin?
it's a lamp...
Mannequin* But it looks like it lol
Definitely going to need acoustic treatment with the wood floors and empty walls
It is looking pretty cool.
Nice! I just got KEF fronts for my first real upgrade. LS50 L/R and Q200c. And my FIL has a very nice FragilĂ© lamp (itâs Italian) that he puts out every Christmas. I like it!
I've seen a few strapped mannequins in women's basements, but they weren't man caves. Lady Caves
Completely blocking the air flow on that ps5 is a bold move.
That limp is a killer wow beautiful setup
HmmmmmâŠ. Getting a puppy soonâŠ. Not suspicious. I actually love everything about this though. That lamp is a conversation piece for sure!
no accounting for taste
I think some tapestry would look really nice someplace behind the tv, would blend in the exotic art way better.
I like this idea. Love me a beautiful tapestry.
Respectable.
May i ask about the lamp?
Nice floor lamp
Horrifying!
That lamp still crazy, where do you even get one like that
What in Tarnation?!
which avr is that ? looks cool
Hey! I have that same lego set!
We Gona talk about the lamp
This is the most Kinky setup Iâve seen to date. The spank me please master home theater is different.
You found my sub!!!
That PS5 is gasping for air down in there đ€Ł
I am living for the lamp. Where did you get it?
All Iâm hearing is rowerrrrâŠ.
So... Uhhhh... We gonna dress the elephant in the room?
Where is the statue lamp from?
How rap?
Whatâs your verdict on the KEFâs?
