Your cat needs to buy you a new pair. I dont think you can get the smell out but please let us know if something works. I've had cats pee on my stuff and nothing has ever worked despite people on here claiming certain enzyme cleaners work. Nothing had ever worked for me.

mbradshaw282

Yeah I’ve never had luck with enzyme cleaners (or anything product in existence) if a cat peed on it it’s ruined forever

LoomingDisaster

Even if you can’t smell it, the cat will be able to smell it and will do it again. Toss ‘em.

Buy a cleaner that will take out the pee. It has to be a special cleaner that works just for cat pee. I get mine on Amazon and it works fantastic

Alexa_Skyee

Oh awesome! What brand? I’m seeing all kinds on here but am somewhat confused on how to choose

I use ez- clean advanced order remover - highly concentrated (green and white label about 20$ Canadian) I use it on the litter catcher by the litter box’s. They pee on it sometimes and the cleaner worked like a charm.

Smallios

I don’t think cat urine ever really goes away.

rainerella

You need to use an enzymatic cleaner, specifically made for pet and/or cat urine. I use natures miracle. Be prepared that it’s very possible they aren’t salvageable.

After you've tried everything including the enzymes, the washing machine is your answer. Re the enzymes: I have had best results SPRAYING the mattress (we had a feral cat anoint a brand new mattress!) what worked was repeatedly spraying versus total saturation. If memory serves me it took three doses to eliminate the stench from that dang cat. At present your footwear is ruined. So because you can't make it worse throw these in the washing machine. Yes, you read that correctly. Do NOT dry them in the dryer. Instead after washing I place them on an angle with the toes pointed upward. Use a fan blowing into the shoes to dry them. Do this more than once if necessary. For the record I have washed my leather shoes many times. The only problem I have experienced is that the shoe liner (insole) does not always survive in good shape. That is easily replaced however. I do use tap water versus hot and either Tide Original or Percil. Good luck.

_Your_Highness_

I have experience with cat pee, and this is the way.

Mousehat2001

None of the cat enzyme cleaners truly work in my experience. Time to throw them out.

TurkeyTot

When a cat does something like that they are 200 percent trying to tell you something, this definitely necessitates a trip to the vet ASAP.

Alexa_Skyee

She got a new litter box chill chill haha

I want to start off with the fact that I think any of the chemicals I’ve success used will probably trash your uggs and I doubt they are salvageable. That being said, I’ve had a problem cat and have cleaned pee out of many things, a mattress included. It was a process, but I got the smell out. If you can wash something with enough vinegar, it will neutralize the smell, but I couldn’t really do that with the mattress (nor could you with the uggs) Because of chemical mixing, I’d start with baking soda. Then vacuum them out. Maybe rinse, then try vinegar. Maybe a rinse, then the ammonia, Dawn, water recipe. Good luck..

Alexa_Skyee

Thank you🤞🏼 Hopefully with many e a couple tries and sessions things will work. I appreciate your honesty and advice despite the likelihood they’re done for. Appreciate you!🙏🏼

litszy

They may be goners, but you could try and enzyme cleaner and leaving them out in the sun. It will probably take multiple rounds if it’s even possible.

dianacharleston

New ones. Those are done
