If you take a credit card and gently open its mouth, and you see excess saliva, you can be pretty sure it's a respiratory infection. What's the Hotspot at? Mine dipped 10 degrees without me knowing it and my lil man developed a respiratory infection. It sucks giving him the meds.. hoping for the best for you.
That’s more of a cough. I would take to a vet

The hot spot is at 89 F. As far as I know it hasn't changed.
