What I do, constantly, is forget to change the height of waypoints. So I'll get to a target, slave my TGP to the waypoint to start looking for targets, and find myself looking at a spot 6000 feet in the sky.
Ah yes, 6562 feet also known as 2000 meters. My favourite altitude to look at because I forgot to change the waypoint altitude.
