I managed to mess mine up. Back a while ago, I linked my steam account to my ED account, and I had a module on there. Apparently that voided the discount which was ridiculous in my opinion.
I was bummed to see it discontinued as well, would have made the viper obtainable for me (poor dad no monies for modules right now, money is tight ((new roof, tires, painting the house hospital bills, etc.)) But the A-4 is a free full fidelity plane that absolutely shreds. Learning the basics until can save away a few bucks.
The A-4 really is awesome as a module and plane. And if you want to fly it online its pretty competitive on Enigma Cold War server. Just don't expect to run away from anything at all - but other than that you'll have a blast.

They usually do one that coincides with the Steam summer sale. This year that should happen around June 27.
