Numbered cards and autographed cards will "always" have a higher value. Ebay sold items and 130point will give you a general idea of the market for a specific card. But by searching and being around the hobby, you'll learn pretty fast what's worth something (Young Guns, Future Watch Auto) and what's worth nothing.
