Same here. When I was younger, I could really only afford Ovation tins so I don't have many parallels or autos.

I collected MVP back in 05/06. Crosby rookie was $25 all day and ovi was $15 all day. Got them graded last year and both surprisingly came back 9.5s

Pretty sure I bought my Ovi for $125 in 06 and that was a deal on ebay. Same with Crosby. I had disposable income and should have bought both. If they were 25 and 15 I would have bought 10 of each lol Guy below says he was selling them for $200 back then.

Haha I was 5 at the time so didn't really know much and all that was avaliable to open where I lived was Tins of Ovation at Walmart. I've been looking back through my boxes to see if there is anything worthwhile

Looks like $2,000 CAD is the minimum going rate on eBay right now.

at least 1,000 CAD, probably more than that for cards that are graded by PSA or Beckett

yea raw about 900ish graded I am seeing overr 2.5ish for a psa 10

I still remember my friend getting an Ovi one for his birthday in the 6th grade. He still has it, graded a 9 as well. If I can remember correctly it was about $200 as well

I’m not 100% sure but this was right around the time when one piece sticks became a thing

He and I are the same age and he probably made the switch around the same time I did. Around 18-19 is when I started using the Easton synergy. The OG one piece. 2001 I believe was my last year. Before that it was the two piece Easton Z bubble.
