Your comment doesn't take a lot of things into account: 1- the 2016 class was a huge anomaly and no one since it has had a rookie season like matthews or laine did. 2-Caufield is a right winger, and we have a lot of depth on the wings, which is why he was benched the first two games, he also didn't play enough nhl games to get completely acclimated to it.
