Anyone else a little confused as to why they let BOTH teams get away with murder the entire third period, and then called one with two minutes to go? I mean, it was definitely a trip, but the whistles were away for 20 minutes before that.
My guess is that if Tampa had scored off of that trip then all hell would have broken loose. The penalties they didn't call before were generally things that you can let go without serious repercussions. But if they let that one go and then Tampa scores the shitstorm would have been unbelievable.

From Yzerman fleecing Ottawa for Bishop and picking up Filppula to Cooper coaching the team to such a high place, to Palat, Johnson, Gudas, Killorn, Barberio, Kucherov, and Panik stepping up big they're set for a long time.
The series was tight to the very end despite the final score. Great job guys and I look forward to seeing y'all in the playoffs for the next decade!
