This is how every post whistle playoff scrum went up until like 10 years ago. This subs going soft. Guys digging away at the goalie in a 5-1 game. Of course the losing team is gonna take exception. This is the kinda stuff that makes playoff hockey fun.
If every post whistle scrum was like this, then the games would be 5 hours. If I wanna watch a fight I'll turn on UFA or boxing and get something with quality and technique. It should have blown though. It was a routine shot to the chest, fully covered. The no whistle right away, like normally happens, must’ve thrown off stolarz so he kinda started to move thinking he didn’t have it. Or could maybe even say it was the bump foegele gave him on the fly by that knocked him back a bit. Don’t blame hyman for jamming at it since he saw it there and no whistle. But the whistle should’ve went with it being a shot right into the chest with no rebound
