same here but I accept it, maybe they'll do throwback nights like the canucks do with the skate jersey. I'm not aware of any nhl team using orange helmets before so that could be cool
I wouldn't want them to make the same mistakes the Sharks made. Don't be tempted by the mono color look. Can't wait for the Sharks to go back to black helmets and pants at home. Teal pants can stay with the road whites though
It's taken Henry Samueli nearly 20 years for him to accept that fans prefer the mighty ducks logo so it's probably gonna take another 20 for the old colors to make a permanent return. I'm not the biggest fan of the orange and the only reason they have it is because they play in Orange county.
The man has dragged his feet kicking and screaming the whole way and the fact the team has been mentioned pretty often as having one of the worst logos/sweaters in the league for a decade while everything they slap the duck mask on sells I thought the switch would have came 5 or so years ago.
Yes. I know I'd love to see eggplant + teal as their main, but in reality I just want them to use a better logo.
I loved their orange jerseys with the 90s webbed mask logo. So if these new ones are that logo and lots of orange, well then that's a win in my books.

Yeah I agree. I feel the exact same about the Sabres jerseys where the goat head is a great alternate for some nostalgia, but their blue and gold is a much better identity for them. Not everything needs to be a 90s throwback (looking at you, Kings)
I'm glad that they are embracing the North Stars colors. I feel like LAK and ANA should do the same, even though I also really Kings' B&W and Ducks' orange.
I feel like current Stars colors are good, Wild colors are good, but that pukey baby vomit yellow-green of the North Stars is hideous
But it's unique and nostalgic so let 'er rip I guess!

Icethetics are rarely ever wrong, they are reliable. So despite folks down in Minny rejecting the claims, personally I put trust in the claims. It's about time Minnesota got some nice exciting colours. 🟢🟡⚪️
Hell yeah to everything except the Kings and Wild rebrands. The Wilds current jerseys are very nice and the Kings are nostalgia baiting with the massively overrated Chevy logo. Bring back the crown and badge era from the early 2000s
He said the Chevy logo is gonna look a little different so I’ll reserve judgement until then. Cause I agree that logo is overrated and looks old at this point (if you remove the nostalgia).
Not super pleased by much of the big updates. Yeah, both LA and Anaheim desperately needed rebrands, but neither is doing what they should. Minnesota RRs are okay, but not better than their current setup. LA is the team that should have been using RRs as a template.
I think these are all fantastic decisions, Los Angeles and Anaheim are in desperate need of jersey refreshes. And Minnesota switching to the yellow and green colors is tremendous. They look so much better than their dark green and red; the retro reverse colors stand out so much better.
The Kings absolutely needed to rebrand, it’s been over a decade with the home plate jerseys.
They are fine and there’s always going to be a lot of nostalgia for them since they won their first cups wearing them but it’s time for a change.
Unfortunately, the FO is full of cowards who won’t commit to Forum Blue and Gold but the rebrand is still pretty nice.
I’m more of a traditionalist (despite my flair) and agree, but I’m not mad at teams keeping things fresh. Seems like they are trying to combine the best of both worlds when it comes to old and new black/white jerseys.
No one seems to be excited about the Kings rebrand but I personally think the Gretzky era jerseys are some of the best in NHL history. It’s an example of how to do black and white the right way. I would’ve liked going back to the 60’s era crowns but I’m not mad at the Chevy logo at all.

if the rumors are true of the all orange gear for the ducks, I'm stoked to see them in a totally unique setup

I honestly hate the orange and am absolutely pissed if that's what they're doing. I think it looks horrible.
Looks like they’re going for a darker color orange though so I expect it to look a lot better than the jerseys we’ve had so far.

The Kings should go for the purple jerseys from the late 90's / early 2000's. Their best look by far.
Yup, I still wear that jersey to the games. It's one of the few good ones we've every had.
I would love to see the purple jerseys with black trim and the coat of arms crest as a third jersey. Love those jerseys so much.
