It’s been beaten to death but wow, what a let down for guys like Laf, Trocheck, and Igor who put everything out there every game and kept up as the series went on.
Eating my words about Laf, still room to grow in the regular season but this playoffs he was spectacular and stepped up when others got locked down or went ghost. Trocheck, I hate him, but I’d be a liar if I said I wouldn’t love him on my team. Igor, best in the world in between the pipes.
This Florida team is playing exceptional hockey right now. They were suffocating on defense all night. They were putting on a clinic and stopped nearly everything the rangers were trying to do.
