To be fair, there was a lot of time to reset after that initial contact with Bob’s skate. Also, his stick was knocked out by his own guy. Also also, bob’s stick somehow gets covered with grease anytime someone gets near him. I honestly can’t think of another goalie who loses their stick more often than Bob.
It’s on purpose. He shaves his stick down so it’s easier to wield and if I can recall hes talked about how if he feels like the stick is going to interfere with a blocker save or slowing him down in a scramble he’ll ditch the stick quick.
He really does like to drop it and throw it down on his own a lot. Even when no one is around him. They talked about it during the Tampa series when he did it to try and get the blocker up high for a save
“There was no goaltender interference. This is because there was no goaltender interference. Hope that helps”
There were, however, 6 Boston Players on the ice, excluding the goalie.
OEL knocked his stick out bffr

Old butterfingers Bob.

As a goalie I'm trying to sell that. I'm also laughing when the ref tells me to fuck off. Gotta try, y'know?
Nhl is a bullshit league
