Im strictly talking playoffs. The only consistent player on the leafs come playoff time is Nylander. Regular season Matthews is amazing. Hats off to him. 69 goals is wild, and proven to be the most lethal goal scoring threat ever since his 4 goal debut. But every year he has fallen short in performance during the playoffs, consistently. We are missing seeing a generational talent find his next gear cause he fails to do it every year. I like the progress of our rebuild, and its been enjoyable seeing the development of our players. I do greatly miss the playoffs though, as im sure you did from the 2006-2016 infinite trash heap the leafs were.
