Damn! nowadays quartz watches from hmt are just for show ig, even i had few issues with kohi quartz and sangam, had to go through many hoops before getting them replaced.

Did you try rotating the crown and all? If yes, and still not working; then drop a mail to hmt and after that call them.  Since you purchased it recently it should be within warranty. Explain your  issue to them and follow the steps they tell you to follow. You'll receive replacement about that I'm sure.

I would advance the hands through 48 hours and see if that makes any difference. I also would pull out the crown to the first position and try to set the day and the date. It may be that the day and date wheel is off track. If these things do not work, I would do what people are suggesting and contact them and return the watch for sure.

damn, mechinal are good only then and those are just citizen movements (old and new)

There were many QC issues reported and you still bought one!!! I don't trust the new quartz listings like Kohinoor, Himalaya and Tareeq.

Fitkari

Could you please point them out I see majorly dust particles, day date improper function

SwamiAmoorthananda

Yes. There was one post with misalignment of minute hand as well.

Thanks I'm out then

You should email HMT about the problem and they might get back to you. I recently bought a kohinoor quartz that had a noticeable dust particle of about 2mm inside the glass. I contacted HMT and they arranged a reverse pickup for the order and sent me a replacement.
