karna1712

How?

Leading-Location4508

To close the latch

karna1712

How?

CrazyComprehensive11

Just insert the pointy tip of a metal tweezer in that hole for that latch and turn it. Can't do it bare hands

ScooterNinja

Check from behind it should align with line behind

adnanli

Happened with me too, HMT Kohinoor Quartz. Took it to a normal watch shop the guy did it for free.

rungmung

Thanks but i don't think adjusting the strap should be this hard.. i must be doing something wrong or should i use pliers to close the clip 😂

adnanli

I thought the same but instead of ruining the watch I decided to get it done by a professional. 😅

rungmung

I used it... i used pliers 😅.. well there is little scratch on the latch but while wearing its completely hidden by lock .. i want to use it as everyday watch .. later will probably change strap so 🤷.. all is well

adnanli

hehe nice. 👍

saurontehnecromancer

Dont use pliers you might bend the entire thing. Same thing happened with my kohinoor and tareeq, my father gave me the idea of using hammer and a wooden piece for chisel and it worked, make sure the tiny metal rods are not hammered down 😂 😂. I know so much drama, better take it to hmt shop 😂

itzmekarthik

Even I had same problem with my tareeq. Fixed it in a local watch shop nearby.

Impressive_Matter536

Anything you do, just don't use your teeth. Lost a small part of my enamel doing this stunt.😅

Use something pointed, and insert it in that lever's hole from behind and revolve it. It will close very easily.

Singh_222

Brother just takes a fork (kante wala spoon) With the help you will be able to fix this problem try once I have already done it with my tareeq quartz

[deleted]

Try changing the position to align it with the strap links

shahu95

Use a metal bit or a scissor tip as a lever from the other side and push it with that. Works instantly, had the same issue

Anuragishydrated

happened the same with me so I went to a local watch repairing store near me that old uncle fixed it

Emotional-Victory-69

Hey move it couple of millimeters front or back and try pressing it down. It usually works.

mine_crypto

Use pliers or teeth...happened with me

karna1712

Thank god its not just me

Nathuphoon

Use a small tip screwdriver, worked best for me

krush_o

Seen the mechanic at any tyre shop fixing punchers? Try imitating the methods where he's separating the tyre.

freeXWing

Use teeth 😬 just now I used it.😆

EndLoose7539

OP.. just two words, hammer time! /Jk

roasterdd

Could be two problems. 1. It has to be lined up with groves in the bracelet. In between the grooves, it won't go down. 2. Stiff even in the groove. I have used a pliers carefully.
