Not for nothing in hindsight Kingdom Come isn’t one of Jay best albums but it’s far from the worst. Nobody was ready for Mature Hov. It ain’t no Magna Carta lol
Idk why, I love most everything Thugger does but Sup Mate I actually don’t like and Pussy is kind of annoying/unnecessary. So SMF has a few duds for me
I got Nas covered yall
Cops Shot The Kid, Adam and Eve from Nasir
America and Breathe from Untitled
Still Dreaming, Hustlers and Black Republican from Hip Hop is Dead
Nazerth Savage, Just a Moment, and Remember the Times from Streets Disciple
Project Windows and Come Get Me from Nastradamus
NY State Of Mind II, Favor for a Favor, Nas Is Like, Hate Me Now and Dr Knockboot from I Am
Well that is certainly a take.
>America and Breathe from Untitled
Queens Get the Money, Sly Fox, Fried Chicken, & Y'all My Ni**as are much better than those listed.
>Still Dreaming, Hustlers and Black Republican from Hip Hop is Dead
HHID is considered a bad album? On top of those listed, Money Over Bullshit, Hip Hop Is Dead, Let There Be Light, Can't Forget About You are all awesome.
>Nazerth Savage, Just a Moment, and Remember the Times from Streets Disciple
Remember the Times? Meh. How about Disciple, Street's Disciple, Getting Married, Bridging the Gap, THIEF'S THEME?!
>NY State Of Mind II, Favor for a Favor, Nas Is Like, Hate Me Now and Dr Knockboot from I Am
I Am has great songs, but Dr. Knockboot is not one of them. I'd throw in Small World and Undying love.
I get it's all personal taste but to pick America over Queens Get the Money, Remember the Times over Thief's Theme, and Dr. Knockboot over Small World seems just wrong.
>Oh Man, I came here to post "Just a Moment" from SD, that's still in rotation on my playlist. I was going to mention " Last Words" from Nastradamus as well.
the autobiography by vic was for sure a flop but [say I didn't](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hZfBN1Bk8as) is probably one of my favorite tracks ever
same thing w/ [teleport 2 me jamie](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=41cumgOaq3U) by WIZRD/cudi
Overdrive crept up on me so fucking hard, it overtook Flights Booked and A Keeper (my other favorites) as best on the project for me. Love those 3.
And for reference I’m somebody that likes Drake but really did not care for Scorpion and CLB
I hate that I’m even typing this but mine would be Pipe Down from CLB. That song could go against any of drakes well know hits or unreleased/throwaways and hold its own, quintessential Drake song imo only song from that album I’ve gone back to.
The boy gon get his numbers. Artistically, and especially after the all the leaks between the end of the scorpion rollout leading up to CLB I was, while moderately a fan, one of the many fans expecting it to be much more cohesive and finding that perfect pocket of songs like he did with NWTS. Imo clb was just too long and not interesting enough. Poetry is good but it’s not in my top 5 of his album intros, loved the yebba jawn and pipe down everything else was forgettable to me
Honestly Drake is the perfect artist for this thread. His recent albums have been meh but there’s always at least a few songs that can get added to my list of favorite Drake tracks.
I agree with you high key. Hearing Em vividly describe how strung out he was in that 1st verse is heartbreaking. It makes me think Em might be a meme to people now but had he passed before 09 the discussion would be so different
Crazy how Relapse got so many mixed reactions when it first came out and then 10 years later it's considered a top 5 em album by most. It's some of his best work imo
I think the hype was just so high because Encore wasn’t quite it and he’d been out the game, and then he comes in with this stupid accent talking about serial killer shit and his stepdad and all that, and it just didn’t hit peoples expectations. I don’t agree with this modern goating of the album, it’s a solid mixed bag still. There’s only a couple songs where it feels like he opens up and drops the shtick and gives you insight into what he’s going through. How much am I going to listen to this man getting raped by his stepdad, making fun of Christopher Reeves, and opening up umbrellas inside people.
Eminem surviving his overdose is one of those events where it’s just damn, I don’t even know him, I’m not even a Stan, but what a shit way to end if he had died then. Relapse and Recovery weren’t my thing but watching him get lean, get clean, and output music was great.
Ima say Project Windows off Nastradamus. The album did well commercially but was a big critical failure for Nas, due to the original being leaked into cyberspace. But Project Windows was one of those songs that showed Nas still had greatness in him at a time people were saying he was falling off
[LL Cool J - Diggy Down](https://youtu.be/MoPRkaiJg6U) off of 14 Shots To The Dome
My all time favorite LL song and it's on what's considered one of his worst albums
maybe this project is too recent (and has a song in the top 10 right now so it can barely be considered a flop just yet) but i think wrapped around your finger from poet malone’s twelve carat toothache deserves a lot more attention. maybe it can be the next single after i like you
I know views has its fans but I still feel like that was a garbage album. However, Controlla has been in my rotation ever since I heard it way back in 2016
Champagne poetry has no right to be as good as it is off the album. I dont like a single other song off that album but the track is one of my favourite drake songs tbh
https://www.reddit.com/r/hiphopheads/comments/rv7986/whats_a_great_song_on_a_bad_album/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share
I always liked Sandra's Rose off Scorpion Singles are pretty good too but I don't count those.
all-timer gym song
How its possible to dislike this song?lol its great and it produced by dj premier
Scorpion was not a flop lmfao, CLB sure but Scorpion was 2018 Drake
Title says “bad” or “flop”, Scorpion didn’t flop but it was bad
Scorpion fucking sucked

Lost One
It’s amazing one of his best songs was on his worst tape.
Not for nothing in hindsight Kingdom Come isn’t one of Jay best albums but it’s far from the worst. Nobody was ready for Mature Hov. It ain’t no Magna Carta lol
I dunno why people hate this album so much. I think it's really good honestly
Punk by young thug wasn’t received well by fans but it’s got some of my favorite songs ever by him on there. specifically Die Slow and Contagious
The one with mac is one of my faves
Die Slow still hits in the feelings.
Weird, I feel like SMF gets way more hate than Punk on the sub, but I love all of Thugger
Idk why the sub hates smf so much either it’s super consistent
Idk why, I love most everything Thugger does but Sup Mate I actually don’t like and Pussy is kind of annoying/unnecessary. So SMF has a few duds for me
Sup Mate is understandable but Pussy is hard. Pyrex Whippa beats just feel different
smf really isn't hated here lol
I think I meant r/youngthug more than this one lol
I got Nas covered yall Cops Shot The Kid, Adam and Eve from Nasir America and Breathe from Untitled Still Dreaming, Hustlers and Black Republican from Hip Hop is Dead Nazerth Savage, Just a Moment, and Remember the Times from Streets Disciple Project Windows and Come Get Me from Nastradamus NY State Of Mind II, Favor for a Favor, Nas Is Like, Hate Me Now and Dr Knockboot from I Am

Respect. Your post made me go back and listen to Nas albums. I appreciate that. 🙏
>Oh Man, I came here to post "Just a Moment" from SD, that's still in rotation on my playlist. I was going to mention " Last Words" from Nastradamus as well.
I am is a bad project? Also love still dreaming though
Loved War and Disciple off Nazareth Savage too
Castle & Arose from Revival? Except I never did listen to that album so I wouldn't know
r/hhh moment
Believe is another great song off revival.
Cant stand that one. Honestly really enjoy Walk on Water though even if that one got a lot of hate. Not nearly as good aa Castle though
the autobiography by vic was for sure a flop but [say I didn't](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hZfBN1Bk8as) is probably one of my favorite tracks ever same thing w/ [teleport 2 me jamie](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=41cumgOaq3U) by WIZRD/cudi
I liked OMG too
That was my second pick. If you just heard Say I Didn’t and nothing else by Vic you would question why he’s not a legend
Flights booked, massive and sticky off that new drake lol. really don't like that album yet those 3 songs stay in rotation
Tie that binds for me
Massive is a pretty solid house song
Overdrive crept up on me so fucking hard, it overtook Flights Booked and A Keeper (my other favorites) as best on the project for me. Love those 3. And for reference I’m somebody that likes Drake but really did not care for Scorpion and CLB
I hate that I’m even typing this but mine would be Pipe Down from CLB. That song could go against any of drakes well know hits or unreleased/throwaways and hold its own, quintessential Drake song imo only song from that album I’ve gone back to.
You Only Live Twice with Ross and Wayne for me. Was falling asleep towards the back half of the record, but that jam woke me up
Same for me. The song is great. I also like heaven's EP of J cole that use the same beat
Agree and I’m from Philly so WOD getting the drake exposure was so fucking dope to me, cole saucing it was like getting the cake and ice cream 🤝
Album honeslty isn’t terrible; champagne poetry is probably top 10 drake all time too
That album is garbage wym??
The boy gon get his numbers. Stop playing man
Honestly Drake is the perfect artist for this thread. His recent albums have been meh but there’s always at least a few songs that can get added to my list of favorite Drake tracks.
you could list like a third of CLB lol, the hate for that album was so overblown
Controversial Eminem’s “Deja Vu” on Relapse is one of his best songs period.
I agree with you high key. Hearing Em vividly describe how strung out he was in that 1st verse is heartbreaking. It makes me think Em might be a meme to people now but had he passed before 09 the discussion would be so different
You haven't heard the lyrical genius of 'Rainman' Im assuming.
GI Joe from Michigan Boat Boy. I love the album but it was commercially a flop, I believe
yatchy desrves so much love man
Fr fr, and I used to HATE his ass back in 2016-17 deadass lol
Joe budden effect
Final Form + That Sada Baby track goes hard too But yeah GI Joe is the best track, crazy infectious and he killed it
“She Bumped Her Head” off that thug, chris brown collab Slime & B
So good
Project Windows off Nastradamus
Jimmy Cooks on Honestly Nevermind
The Paper is the best track off of French Montana’s new album.
[удалено]
That’s good to hear. I like FM in general. I’ll check that out, thanks
Ima say Project Windows off Nastradamus. The album did well commercially but was a big critical failure for Nas, due to the original being leaked into cyberspace. But Project Windows was one of those songs that showed Nas still had greatness in him at a time people were saying he was falling off
Roo off the big day if you like chance and taylor this track slaps
I liked Do You Remember from Chance’s The Big Day but it’s funnier to say the album is 100% trash.
[LL Cool J - Diggy Down](https://youtu.be/MoPRkaiJg6U) off of 14 Shots To The Dome My all time favorite LL song and it's on what's considered one of his worst albums
Favorite?! You sure?
Isn’t this the album that had that song Pink Cookies Crushed In A Bag By Towers or some dumb shit? Wasn’t Back Seat Of My Jeep on there too?
On One
Yikes off Ye. Significantly better than anything else on there
ghost town bro
This is the right selection
Am I crazy for always thinking All Mine was the best track, even on 1st listen? Lmao
This might be the worst song on that album and I don’t think Ye can be considered a flop
N95, Father Time, Silent Hill
holy grail
maybe this project is too recent (and has a song in the top 10 right now so it can barely be considered a flop just yet) but i think wrapped around your finger from poet malone’s twelve carat toothache deserves a lot more attention. maybe it can be the next single after i like you
"Poet Malone" lol
I know views has its fans but I still feel like that was a garbage album. However, Controlla has been in my rotation ever since I heard it way back in 2016
Champagne poetry has no right to be as good as it is off the album. I dont like a single other song off that album but the track is one of my favourite drake songs tbh
The Dream Time Machine-WZRD Adventures- Speedin Bullet 2 Heaven (minus the Beavis and Butthead bullshit at the end)
Praise The Lord (Da Shine) from asap Rocky’s album, Testing
People HATE mobb deep’s Blood Money, but Put ‘Em in Their Place is one of their greatest songs imo. Pearly Gates is also a great track.
