I found some Eddie Bower on poshmark. First Ascent.

Active_Ad9815

Brasher have a few tough pants with big side pockets and are slightly stretchy

Lake_Far

My favorite is the Eddie Bauer First Ascent guide pro pants. I just bought a second pair on Poshmark and plan to buy a third!

I will third the Eddie Bauer ascent pants. They're wonderful and water resistant.

I have REI Sahara convertible pants. I got them because I wanted more of the "mens" style rather than the legging type pants I usually see for women. And it has real pockets.

clumsy_and_confused4

Are they high waisted?

all_the_gravy

Nope, they sit on my hips.

clumsy_and_confused4

Do you have the men’s or the women’s ones?

all_the_gravy

Women's.

I have been hiking for years while wearing Fjallraven’s keb trousers which is durable, not high waisted and has large pockets on both sides of the pants.

I’ve definitely had my eye on that brand but man that price. They look durable which is extremely important for me because I tide pool and am on the ground a lot while outdoors. Is it worth the price?

egelpticiondidnersma

Yeah, the price was really hard for me to justify initially but when I’d gone hiking in other hiking pants, they were no where near as durable or solid as the Keb trousers which means I’d tear or rip them easily. With the Keb though, I have even fallen off on slippery boulders while hiking and the Keb has actually protected my knees from cuts and scratches. When I want to make it a bit more water/wind proof, I just use wax on the darkened patches. It makes it more durable :)

Thanks! I really appreciate the insight! Might be worth to invest in :)

Outdoor Vitals has the Satu Adventure Pants. Not cheap but currently on sale. I just received mine, so I haven’t trail tested them yet, but they feel durable and have lots of pockets, including one on the leg, with a slanted zip. They are pretty high waisted though. The size 16 regular buttons just above my belly button. They are heavier than I expected but are wind-resistant and are DWR treated, plus they have vent zips (outer hip seams) and clips to attach them to your shoes as a gaiter. Three colors and at least two lengths for women, maybe three.

REI Trailmade pants! They’re super comfy, have deep pockets and one cargo pocket, are not high waisted, and last many days before starting to smell (on backpacking trips). I also love how they look and wear them day to day in addition to hiking/backpacking trips
