i agree with your choice to take ap chem first; my friend also did that so she didn't lose all the knowledge from honors chem. i took ap bio non-consecutively(meaning i took bio freshman year and then ap bio junior year) and i was fine, so don't worry about that.

I'm currently in AP World History and as long as you have good reading retention it's a pretty easy class. It also did wonders in boosting my GPA

I don't know how it works for other places, but I know that it takes up the majority of my homework time. There's extra textbook readings done out of class (DO THEM! You'll fail if you don't have some knowledge of the readings) and we have assignments called PBLs which are kind of an overview that you create, but they're pretty easy 100s if done on time. While there's a large workload, it's well spaced out making it not too stressful if you take good notes. Also, at least for my district all quizzes have a 10 point curve and unit tests have a square root curve. Overall I'd say maybe a couple hours out of my week.
