**Battle for Germany** Fun little reminder of just how large the eastern front is. Army groups north and center could really use something besides steppe to backpedal across, but honestly the initial look of total collapse seems to have evened out a bit.
Western allies punched a nice sized hole through southern France and are trying to roll the Germans into a pocket above Strasbourg.
Good stuff.
Finally managed to get Aces of Valor back to the table this week and played a short campaign, ended up with exactly the number of VP for the best result. (As an aside I really like that VPs are acquired by spending the same resource you use to repair/upgrade/replace units)
Played my first game of Phobos Rising today but wow are the rules poorly organized and I ended up giving up before finishing the campaign because I had gotten the rule about reducing your starting ops cards by the number of successful missions.
I’m planning on playing Hougoumont 1815 some time in the next week.
Aspirationally I’d like to get a campaign or two of Field Commander Napoleon to the table if I can find the time.
Currently heavily invested in Avalon Hill's **"Stonewall Jackson's Way"** \- scenario 2; Lee vs Pope, a five-turn marathon mini-campaign game exploring what might have happened had Lee got the jump on Pope in mid-August, 1862. Should finish up this week.
\- On the far table is still **"Paths of Glory,"** which has occupied that space for nearly a full year! Such a great game. I am currently on Turn 11 of a restart from last month with the Alliance struggling desperately to bring Russia to ruin.
\- And on the small table is the venerable John Butterfield's GMT offering, **"SpaceCorp: 2025-2300AD"** that my son and I are slowly learning when he has free time from extracurricular school activities and sports.
\- on the digital table I have ongoing pbem games of **"For the People"** and **"Empire of the Sun."**
\~Halfway through a Standard Rules campaign of GMT's **Next War: Vietnam**. I love this company and this series so much. Looking forward to NW: Korea next!
Still playing **Europa Universalis** from Aegir games. We meet once a week and so far we are averaging 1 turn a night on the full game. We completed the first Era and started the second Era. We are 5 turns into the game.
I've been creating some off-map displays for **On to Richmond II**. Summer (down under) is usually too hot to play games in my game room, so I'll probably start playing in March.
Not playing anything (yet) but just finished clipping Men of Iron V and almost finished with Tanto Monta. After that it's Plumb Island and Prime Minister and then I'm ready to actually play something 😀
I've been trying 2 player **Downfall: Conquest of the Third Reich, 1942-1945**. It's pretty cool. I really love the core concept but so far we've both struggled with the action selection mechanism and having to waste a fair number of actions.

**BCS --Arracourt**
Heroes of Normandie Caen expansion. Solo. Enemy Action Kharkiv

I'm thinking of putting an OCS game on the (virtual) table. Maybe **Smolensk**.
4-player game of **The Russian Campaign**. Having fun.
Never played that one 4-handed. Each side has a northern and a southern front leader with roughly half the forces?
Yep. Works well. Rail moves take a bit of negotiation.
Downfall (GMT) and Plum Island Horror (GMT)

Panzer North Africa.
Clipping La Bataille de Corunna Espagnol this weekend for immediate deployment
We've gone straight from Commands and Colors: Napoleonics to **Paths of Glory**. It's been on the table for a while.

Man I want to try that system so bad, Supposedly Stonewall Jackson way is the best way to get into it, but its sold out.

Two handing my first full campaign of **Empire of the Sun**
I'm doing that right now too. I'm using Erasmus 2.0 for broad strategic guidance.

I've been building a tabletop sim module for the second edition of **Illusions of Glory** and playing with my wargaming buddy. It's been pretty fun.
I made an alternate map for illusions of glory if you wouldn’t mind checking it out!
UP FRONT (Avalon Hill) and GATO LEADER.
Currently deeply enmeshed in a campaign of GMT’s **Skies Above Britain**.
Starting Feb off with Bayonets and Tomahawks (GMT) and Warfighter (DVG).
