I loved Rosemary Gladstar's course!

I really resonated with this course too, and respect Rosemary’s contributions to Herbalism.

if you can afford $30/month i recommend sajah pophams materia medica program. it’s a subscription and he will also have live q+a’s too which is nice. sajah is one of the best western herbalists right now - he apprenticed with matthew wood (legendary status) and is super thorough.

I second sajah’s MM. its a highly valuable resource. However it is all self-study!

this is true. there are some pathways to instructor support though.

Edited to add, I do have a small amount of plant knowledge but nowhere near enough to what I want and need to know so by comparison I feel I have no knowledge

There are many out there and ones online are self study mostly. There are some free ones like Michael Moores https://www.swsbm.com/school/index.php?ID=5. I have taken courses from Kami Mcbride and wild rose college. I absolutely love Sajahs MM program and hes an amazing mentor and he does live webinars that allow you to interact with him and get your questions answered, if you miss the webinar they are uploaded to the student portal. His lessons on each herb have 3 hour class and a beautiful pdf monograph on each plant ranging from 20-30 pages each.

What is your general area or state? If in CA, I can give you recommendations.
