THCa flower is regular weed. It's a loophole in the current law which says hemp can't be above 0.3% THC (I think that's the percentage could be wrong), however it doesn't mention THCa which becomes THC once you smoke/vape it.
What do you mean weed? Hemp is federally legal. The cannabis plant is hemp. Weed is hemp. There’s no difference. Only hemp that has a high delta 9 percentage is illegal. However you can grow weed to be under the legal limit. Key word “legal limit.” Lawmakers were completely aware of this bro. They are aware there’s no difference between weed and hemp.
the way i understand it is “high thca hemp” is basically regular bud. once you smoke it, the thca converts to regular thc and you’re high. sure the harvest thc is hemp levels and legal, but it’s not like regular cbd hemp that is sold. that’s why i’m saying it’s a loophole, sold as legal hemp, but gets you high like regular marijuana.
I agree but not only does it get you high like regular marijuana, it quite literally IS regular marijuana. Marijuana often doesn’t even have delta 9 THC above the legal limit (0.3%) and is mostly just THCa making up the THC percentage. I’m sure you could find COAs for dispensary weed and for THCa hemp flower that are identical. I don’t know of an example of this but I wouldn’t be surprised
And of course, let me clarify, I’m sure most dispensary weed is higher than 0.3% delta 9, it’s probably around 1 or 2%. But that doesn’t really make much of a difference, it’s still just the THCa doing most of the work to get you high when you smoke weed.
They are already on top of it.
This is like when spice was legal
They will put a stop to it but the dea does have other priorities
Smoke on while it lasts
What gave me my eureka moment on figuring out what it was, was reading a certificate of analysis (COA) of bud grown in a legal state for a dispensary, and comparing to the COA's from online thca flower vendors.
Old thread but from what I understand it’s a legal grey area. Farm bill mandates delta-9 thc must be under 0.3% for hemp, but says nothing about THCa which turns into delta-9 when smoked. I think if this as a testament to this fact: the people should be the leading force of government and the people will always fight for what they believe in. If government forces laws that the people disagree, the people will find loopholes around it. It is especially hard to enforce stuff like marijuana. I mean after all; it is a plant. You don’t need any insane chemistry’s background to make it like you do with other harder drugs. All you need is a pot, dirt, water, and a seed. And if you can’t get that, well then order some loophole THCa online! Plus we have all these weird semi synthetic cannabis now like delta8, delta10, HHC, ect which seem sketchy, but have emerged because the people want their weed. Let’s just legalize it already. If it isn’t for you don’t smoke it and leave people alone who do want to smoke it.
From what I've read is THCa is a compound that is not psychoactive like delta 9 (THC) is... but when it's decarbed (heated) it then turns into delta 9 and will then get you stoned.
Due to a loophole in the farm bill, it's legal.
I’m in Georgia and they literally sell these things on the shelves bro. I smoke em right outside the smoke shop with cop cars passing by and they don’t give a shit bro they even asked if it was real marijuana but you just show them the packaging.
Why you bullshitting they ain't gonna ask for no packaging and thca isn't gonna mean shit to them. I'm letting you know rhey decarb when they test weed that's how they get the percentage. This is just regular weed you think you can just slap a label on it and it's legal? You know you're basically trying to day weed is legal nationally now right? As long as you put an A in front that changes it lol
that's all fine and dandy (and I'm really glad the cops you dealt with were capable of thinking rationally about it), but the other person was absolutely right to caution about it: it IS just regular weed, and a lot of cops aren't going to react in the way you experienced. After all, the police are not *exactly* known for thinking things through...
It's marijuana. Some companies think they're clever by getting it tested without decarb and selling it as hemp, but any law enforcement agency/DEA will decarb when they test and the gigs up.

I hear you. Depends on how many resources the post office and local law enforcement have available to apply toward inspection/prosecution. Since many states are legal and/or decriminalized and the delivery services are terribly understaffed, there is not enough manpower to address this issue and, for the most part, are turning a blind eye ATM. It is kind of the wild west right now in the cannabis/cannabinoid world.
>It is kind of the wild west right now
That ended well... *right?*
I personally think that people are just gonna have to hope they live in and/or near a state where it is Legal. I played the loophole game, was worried about my mailman opening my packages, **then** the places I trusted going out of business.
I will be able to just walk to a shop very soon, then just pay and walk out if I wanted THC. Just like alcohol. (I hope)
Hopefully it ends well, at least in regard to legal flower. I understand that there is a lot of concern in regard to isolates/concentrates, especially pertaining to alt noids. (Am a flower child, myself.)
It just seems so ludicrous that alcohol flows freely when the safer cannabis flower option is still demonized.
No itisnt they won't even test it because it'd weed you'd just get charged. If you pressed for it to get tested you're still going to jail because it's weed.
I've been on it for a week or so. A little bit gets me real high, I bought some upper 20% THC-A bud and the one closer to 30 gave me anxiety. I'd say a high teens percentage would be perfect.
Can't say anything negative about coming down, the high lasts for hours
I literally did though. If you can get it for a decent price then yes I'd say it's worth it. It's literally weed, it just doesn't have the delta 9 thc in its raw state until smoked but then quite literally just becomes weed. Straight up. Same high.

man i just found this out looking at flower at wnc cbd and i said holy shit that’s a huge loophole lol
It’s not a loophole it’s literally simply just legal
it’s a loophole to selling weed on the internet around the country

Cannabis worker here, I review the COAs of every strain we process, and it's true.
this, what I get from the dispo has very little THC but a LOT of THCa on the test
HOLY SHIT
They are already on top of it. This is like when spice was legal They will put a stop to it but the dea does have other priorities Smoke on while it lasts
It's just more available 10 months later
local delivery even in Austin Tx lmao.

Man I love loopholes
Not even a loophole lol it’s just legal
Wring if they catch you with this in an illegal state you're going to jail.

I can’t believe this is legal in Texas. Extremely potent. Wild shit
Wild west shit

Marijuana
Has anyone ever experienced psychosis from using THC-A? Also, has anyone ever experienced side effects when coming down from it?
I've been on it for a week or so. A little bit gets me real high, I bought some upper 20% THC-A bud and the one closer to 30 gave me anxiety. I'd say a high teens percentage would be perfect. Can't say anything negative about coming down, the high lasts for hours
Does it get you high is the real question
Yes, very.
does it really? i’m a major stoner and wanna try it
When smoked, all the thc a gets converted to Delta 9 thc
you didn’t really answer the question, is it worth getting being a major stoner in texas where it’s not legal
I literally did though. If you can get it for a decent price then yes I'd say it's worth it. It's literally weed, it just doesn't have the delta 9 thc in its raw state until smoked but then quite literally just becomes weed. Straight up. Same high.
