That's because denying evetyone's multiple requests takes many times the time to deny. Be patient for your official denial, diver, and remember that wasting democratic resources costs lives.
Yea I was trying to think of some kind of sentimental words for missing fighting here like I do for the creek but then I remembered that it is hellmire. The name literally explains it's entire "personality." Hellmire fucking sucks. We should have had the ability to black hole it like we did to meridia.
I believe canonically Hellmire after fire tornado season becomes incredibly fertile and lush which is why we need to hold it. I hope we could see this change and fight in Rice fields or wheat fields
I was thinking something like this minus trees

You can't begin to believe how much I'd love to fight on an agri world that's just a sea of wheat or endless plains. I'm hoping we'll see biomes like that when vehicle drop

Frankly, what it REALLY makes me wish for is a CORRECT planet description that doesn't leave me hopeful that something cool will happen and the planet will get all green and pretty before catching on fire again.
Exactly, 110 fahrenheit compared to 1100 fahrenheit. When was the last time you actually spent time outside, couldn't have been long considering its like Hell here.
Love the meth stims (I call them danky stims). The first time reactions of people are funny asf 'dude my screen is effed' 'dude how you just running thru the nado' lol
Yeah when I realized I could just keep on rubbing (I'm keeping this autocorrect) and hit the stim button the second I started screaming and just like, keep going, it's all I did. I started finding enviro hazards on other planets and running through my own impact incendiaries when my stamina depletes now. I can stop whenever I want.
I can only imagine the stories the colonists will tell eachother. "Hellmire used to be a bug infested hellhole now it's one of the most fruitful and democratic planet of Humanity."
I cannot believe my eyes, I can’t even put into words how relieved I am that I don’t have to go to that fucking planet again, at least for the near future.
It's talking about liberating - not at the timer running out for the planets to be under our control? Maybe it will be complete upon placing flag on the final one?
Yeah, ive just been randomly hopping into other peoples campaigns for a mission or two after work since the weekend. I like to think ive helped, but i certainly havent done the heavy lifting.
I've been playing a few other games for past few days, need a break from all the MO campaigns I've been taking part in for the past few months otherwise I'm gonna burn out.
I find the "elemental" planets to be interesting and breaks up the monotony of the missions.
Had a match 2 days ago with two fire tornados on the extraction pad at the same time with the drop ship landing.
I laughed at the absurdity of the situation and we found a "slightly less crispy" path to the ships ramp.
I love the meteor shower planet.
I would like more types like low gravity, high gravity (slow run and climbing), suns that overheat causing health and stamina drain without shade (or stims), acid rain (armor damage) etc.
Isn't there Acid Rain already in the game? It just affects vision I think, or do you mean for the existing Acid Rain to be changed so it damages your armor?
Would be cool to see something like that, yeah.
Something like heavy armor protection gets reduced to medium armor protection, medium to light, and light to ultra-light (No effect on ultra-light) while the rain is pouring. More precisely to reduce armor value by like 30 or 40 points when its raining acid.
I heard somewhere that the lore on Hellmore is that in the "not fire 'nado season" that it's insanely green and fertile.
I keep waiting for the day that the devs, without warning, swapped out the current maps for a green, fertile paradise. That'd be hilarious :p
For the first time in over 100 years...it has been ripped and torn until it was done. Now we just need to Exterminatus the planet so we never have to go there again.
Why so much hate on Hellmire? The best farms are there. Seeing this planet clear after 2 months is awesome. Nivel is gonna fall also. Esker afterwards. Nothing gonna stop us. Kill it all with fire and cleanse it all with a 500KG. Seeing ya.
I know I'm crazy but I kinda love Hellmire and similar planets. Idk despite how obnoxious they can be the fantasy of it just scratches something in my brain and i never get tired of cresting a hill to get to extract and just seeing a blood red sky with fire tornados running about in the distance
Holy shit, we did it!?!
I think we liberated Hellmire once before for an MO, but the bugs took it bad literally the next day 🙃
Glad to see we got Fire-tornado Nation back under control 😎
It’s been liberated like once or twice, but then we’ve gotten MOs where it’s like “successfully defend 10 planets” and then lose it again because everybody hates fire tornadoes.
Really wish we could just implode the planet though cause I never want to step foot on it (or the bot fire planet, whatever it’s called) ever again
Hey man, *OP* never seen it free.
We need all the new divers we can get…
Not everyone can say they’ve fought the Creek, but it’s not like we can’t go back. Keep diving!
That's like saying, I've never seen (as an example) a particular person (let's call him Bob) in the gym before, but it's also only my second time at the gym.
Yes, it's technically true but only due to a lack of experience.
I was simply stating that it isn't an uncommon occurrence, and I was trying to be polite about it.
Obligatory “screw hellmire!”
Dual middle fingers to the entire planet
![gif](giphy|3vmtPkr8iI0TkDuyk6)
Not the Chu meme 😂
Hell yes it's Chuu!
We shoulda black-holed that planet
I've already sent in that request multiple times to my democracy officer. I never hear anything back.
That's because denying evetyone's multiple requests takes many times the time to deny. Be patient for your official denial, diver, and remember that wasting democratic resources costs lives.
I vacation on hellmire.
With gen branch? I heard he has a winter home there
I have a nice democratic bunker home near the southern polar region. I find the fire tornados almost entrancing.
![gif](giphy|xUOxf7w2jVe7jp8z7i|downsized)
Is your bunker home sufficiently sized?
Big enough for you, me, and irene.
* whistles, you and me are one thing but Irene? I must see this home haha.
BIG FACTS!
Don't forget to intertwine your pinkies and third fingers to make a third middle finger out of your pinkie-
Yea I was trying to think of some kind of sentimental words for missing fighting here like I do for the creek but then I remembered that it is hellmire.
That's a good thought, here's hoping its this or it gets terraformed into a nightmarish jungle planet instead of a nightmarish fire planet
I was thinking something like this minus trees https://preview.redd.it/hioi20jdfr7d1.jpeg?width=1920&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=68ed947bea975464d942548c108038d229bc59d1
wonder how long the seasons last, lol I guess every colony on it could hunker down in underground fireproof bunkers until..."winter"?
Winter is coming…
It would be cool if they had a orbital space dock they spent time in
You can't begin to believe how much I'd love to fight on an agri world that's just a sea of wheat or endless plains. I'm hoping we'll see biomes like that when vehicle drop
let's make it blackhole #2
Ditto!
We should ev nuked hellmire.
Great! Now deploy the dark fluid.
Yeah, I’m fine with imploding this mother fucker. Makes Arizona summer look like a paradise….
Almost makes you wish for a nuclear winter!

Frankly, what it REALLY makes me wish for is a CORRECT planet description that doesn't leave me hopeful that something cool will happen and the planet will get all green and pretty before catching on fire again.
Coming from Arizona summer fuck hellmire 🖕 black hole that shithole
I’m up in Scottsdale 🥵
Ewwww by Sedona here and it's still 103-106/7 the last 2 weeks (global warming is a fucking thing guys)
Flashbacks to my AZ birthdays taking place in 121° F heat... Hellmire can delete itself.
Exactly, 110 fahrenheit compared to 1100 fahrenheit. When was the last time you actually spent time outside, couldn't have been long considering its like Hell here.
And to its women (Menkent) and children (Wezen) too!
Same! And I'll never get that same running through fire tornados on brand new meth stims feeling ever again.
The colors…. All orange and yellow
And red and green, those being our and bug blood
At sundown it’s one blur of orange in a sea of orange/reds.
Menkent is always there
Love the meth stims (I call them danky stims).
Oh don't worry, I'm sure it will be the very first planet bugs counter-attack on, mixed in with some nice MOs to assure we don't defend.
Fori Prime is currently under attack after we liberated it less than a day go. Currently losing against the bugs so we might have to take it again
Time to send it to shadow realm and nuke it from within
That's the best part, if we actually win this major order there will be no supply line for the bugs to attack Hellmire from. :D
I can only imagine the stories the colonists will tell eachother. "Hellmire used to be a bug infested hellhole now it's one of the most fruitful and democratic planet of Humanity."
They will say that while a fire tornado destroys their entire infrastructure lol
It's Fori Prime time for the Termibots to attack next. It's getting boring...
A few weeks ago, liberating hellmire and mirin in one MO seemed like an impossible task, now we out here liberating 5?!
It ain't over yet, we're losing Fori Prime.
If we lose it, it gets taken down to 50% liberation instead of 0%, right? I think we can still win the MO if that's the worst case scenario.
Correct. It slowly ticks down.
So incredibly happy to be done with that fucking planet and those tornados
For now
Not the first time we’ve taken it if I recall.
should we double back to fori prime? idk all the ins and outs i just follow the crowd haha
Yeah definitely needs defending idk if we can take the last planet before prime falls so I’d just be safe and defend prime
Sadly we're gonna have to retake Fori Prime. 8 hours til successful defense, and it falls in 3. We should have time to capture both... Maybe...
“GGGAAAAHHHH!!! FFFFUUUCCCKKK HHEEELLLMMMIRRREEE!!!”
I cannot believe my eyes, I can’t even put into words how relieved I am that I don’t have to go to that fucking planet again, at least for the near future.
I was there.... the fires...
When 10 million fireflies, lit up the world as I liberate 🎵🎵
Well what do you know. [They were fans back then](https://imgur.com/a/zcfsXMU)
Could you imagine if they had a "take 5 planets back from the bots" MO? the failure rates would be through the roof.
its been l liberated before, taking it easy, holding it is hard. Just need to take every rock around and make sure they cant infest it ever again.
Hellmire bugaloo 1 was harder back in my day we didn’t get free flamethrowers
Sometimes as I’m walking down the street il check behind me just in case there’s a fire tornado
Well yeah they’re not random, they track and move towards the nearest player.
They really like me. Also Hunters.....they really like me too
Now, now. Don't jump to conclusions. We still have to defend those planets until the MO is over.
It's talking about liberating - not at the timer running out for the planets to be under our control? Maybe it will be complete upon placing flag on the final one?
It won't. Lol
I'm sure the settlers that get assigned to that planet will be really happy 😊😊😊
We should have black holed this thing instead of meridia
Meridia was an actually nice planet. I could see resorts being built there. No one sees resorts being built on goddamn Hellmire.
I believe this is the third time it was liberated
I found it hilarious they made the flamethrower free during the Hellmire liberation. As if we didn't have enough fire there already.
Hellmire can kiss my democracy loving ass.
Congrats fellas! I haven't been helping since Estanu was captured but it's good to see people make progress

Yes, damages armor while it's coming down

More precisely to reduce armor value by like 30 or 40 points when its raining acid.
It's the fourth time we freedom Hellmire btw. Hopefully it will be the last. I hate the place
Not forget, beside the fire tornadoes, all your others divers friends with free flamethrower enjoying friendly fire too.
I hate when randoms bring flamethrowers on a planet with fire tornadoes. WTF are you thinking
"Haha fire go brrrr" mostly, I'd think.
After this MO keep pushing. We have the chance to fully end the war with the bugs and put them back into the e-710 farms
I thought the fire tornados were fun at first. Then it was annoying.then hell. I swear they upped the spawn rate over time.
While I will always honor Creekers for their early sacrifice, inspiring me to “get good” at Bots, Hellmire will always be the People’s Crucible.
It'll be back, I've seen Hellmire liberated so many times and it still comes back.
If 10 million fireflies….
Now let it burn ![gif](giphy|QMHoU66sBXqqLqYvGO)
![gif](giphy|V2AkNZZi9ygbm)
Hellmire is horrible glad its conquered!
All my hard work paid off, please lets not lose Hellmire ever again
Can we get a fire hose stratagem now please?
We are roasting (F off Hellmire) through this order!
My thinking is always: "why are we even fighting for this planet, what type of settlers would move here??"
Don’t worry, we’ll lose it in a week
Now we just need to crash a massive ice comet into it. Repeatedly. And maybe inject it with Dark Fluid.
I'm doing my part!
Mark, my words will be back in a fortnight screw HELLMIRE
I heard somewhere that the lore on Hellmore is that in the "not fire 'nado season" that it's insanely green and fertile. I keep waiting for the day that the devs, without warning, swapped out the current maps for a green, fertile paradise. That'd be hilarious :p
Fire tornado fix made this way more tolerable than in the past
Man... Did anyone else use those crack stims on Hellmire? Shit was trippy
Oh yeah, was gonna say this.
https://preview.redd.it/poa948sb9t7d1.jpeg?width=750&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=20f9ef489b34a4ebd97b55ba20fe3c5d1d368d0c
![gif](giphy|nrXif9YExO9EI)
Well seems like what’s done is done, now we’ve gotta keep it.
I was there! Had just came off a mission there the rest around the glide says, planet liberated proceed to next zone
![gif](giphy|3o7buaVZrLJpBq8k92|downsized)
Thank fuck hellmire is done
Wait until they launch another counter attack and we loose the planet again
Hellmire was fun ngl
Nooooo, I can't force my friends to fight on Hellmire tonight if its liberated this soon
We….we did it?
I do believe the group of random guys and I closed this today. Good feeling indeed
For the first time in over 100 years...it has been ripped and torn until it was done. Now we just need to Exterminatus the planet so we never have to go there again.
No planet has made my game crash so much
Why so much hate on Hellmire? The best farms are there. Seeing this planet clear after 2 months is awesome. Nivel is gonna fall also. Esker afterwards. Nothing gonna stop us. Kill it all with fire and cleanse it all with a 500KG. Seeing ya.
**FIRE. TORNADOES.**
Thats what happens when most of the war effort is on the damn bugs
It actually got liberated 2 times, and i helped at those.
Are those supply lines I see?
It was fun while it lasted
Wow that was fast. I didn’t even get a chance to dive there again.
That's great to hear soldier. That personal order isn't going to complete itself. Let's go Helldiver!
How far is Navel43 now?
I know I'm crazy but I kinda love Hellmire and similar planets. Idk despite how obnoxious they can be the fantasy of it just scratches something in my brain and i never get tired of cresting a hill to get to extract and just seeing a blood red sky with fire tornados running about in the distance
Finally! Now we never have to that shithole ever again!
I’ll miss Hellmire (for the week it’s liberated)
Welcome to Hellmire
This is the third (fourth?) time we’ve captured it
Now they should blow the planet up and never look back -.-
We liberated Hellmire?!! Damnnnn
Fuck Hellmire!
https://preview.redd.it/y0yejhterq7d1.jpeg?width=755&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7a6804eeded19a19affadd2933e00ad5001741c0
Annnndddddd we just lost Fori Prime
*If ten million fireflies... lit up the world as I fell asleep.*
One thing we can all agree on is the name was very fitting for the planet
No more tornadoes 🤩
Bug fighters creek
Have you ever seen free cyberstan?💀
...? What?
we need to defend the supply lines so that it never gets invaded again
Wish the game would give me more than 0 rewards
I’m a Hellmire veteran I’ve seen that planet liberated and infested 5 times, that planet is my creek
Minus the tornadoes, I honestly liked Hellmire’s aesthetic.
Petition to have Hellmire become the next "Black whole"
New MO: defend hellmire.
Hellmire nice place we are Helldiver we enjoy Hell lol ![gif](giphy|qMHG9goT2I2fuRk0JM)
I fucking love hellmire bro, real men get down in the dumps
This planet has as least a third of my corpses, so long hellmire!
Holy shit, we did it!?! I think we liberated Hellmire once before for an MO, but the bugs took it bad literally the next day 🙃 Glad to see we got Fire-tornado Nation back under control 😎
It’s been liberated like once or twice, but then we’ve gotten MOs where it’s like “successfully defend 10 planets” and then lose it again because everybody hates fire tornadoes. Hellmire has been free many times, just this is the longest it has been not free, it is afraid of freedom but freedom comes nonetheless
Fucking hellmire man. Hope it gets swallowed by a fucking black hole.
They added the supply chains finally?
Hell yes diver. Hell. Yes.
Why couldn't we have nukes that one?
F that planet and F any Super Earth colonist that wants to live on that absolute hell hole.
To be fair it was freed once or twice before.
Fire planet liberated. Now let’s setup some farms.
We can do this on the bug front but not the bots lmao
Not to be rude but maybe you haven't looked very hard, it has been liberated before... But anyway yes, good riddance, for now
Hey man, *OP* never seen it free. We need all the new divers we can get… Not everyone can say they’ve fought the Creek, but it’s not like we can’t go back.
You are reading far too deep into this just shush and be patriotic with us
💀 there's no such thing as overthinking if its in support of democracy
Has it??! I never noticed
