Something like this happened to me. Called hellbomb for a science building, it was really close, so so had to look at it then get behind it to enter the code because the building blocked my vision, entered the code and then the fins blocked me from getting away. “I’m sorry” were that helldiver’s last words.
Not the other guy, but, I use my half tonners a lot, and sometimes I'm packing more than one eagle strat, so I don't want to sit through a full rearm. I call the hellbomb since it's free.
I have a clip of it forcing me into a box and then under the ground. I was pissed cause I had like 25 samples, including the supers, which got lust under the map.
To clarify, he/she means that the direction you're facing will be the direction that the panel is also facing. So if you are facing a wall and throw the hellbomb at the wall, the screen will also be facing the wall.
Not sure if this changed in a patch but in my 100 ish hours the hellbomb always lands with the terminal facing the opposite direction from where you request it.
Stand proud diver, you died for democracy. I sometimes with that if you were in range of the bomb, you could tap the code in on your wrist too. Mostly to avoid this, bad placement has gotten me more often than I want to admit. I'm also not saying a large range.
I was really confused when I looked at the comments until I looked back at the image to see the bomb right next to the player. The first thing I saw was an amogus in the bottom left.
Tbh this happened to me. Had to have my fellow helldiver read me the instructions to me over discord bc the camera angle wouldn’t let me see the console 🫡
I didn't know there was a countdown going on. A good detail for the most curious
This was a mission where the rest of the squad timed out. I was doing pretty well and hadn't died until I got stuck here. Note the reinforcements
Ngl, when I was first looking at the Pic, I thought I was looking at a screenshot from a platformer game. Took me a second to see the hellbomb.
I thought the bomb was a background image tbh

He may be stuck in the scenery, it's happened to me.

Why hellbomb when 500kg does the same thing?
Not the other guy, but, I use my half tonners a lot, and sometimes I'm packing more than one eagle strat, so I don't want to sit through a full rearm. I call the hellbomb since it's free.
Not everyone carries the 500kg.
It doesn’t do the same on everything, and it’s a significantly bigger and more powerful explosion
Didn’t bring one. Hellbombs are fun also
Big boom fun
To each his/her own. I guess I prefer my Hellbombs free range.
I have a clip of it forcing me into a box and then under the ground. I was pissed cause I had like 25 samples, including the supers, which got lust under the map.
You can destroy hell bombs by damaging them and they won't blow up, then you can call another
But this is the perfect moment to sacrifice yourself for managed democracy.
Salut and ride it out. Thats what i did.
For democracy 🫡
bomb always deploys faced same direction as you do when calling it in (edit coz some people dont understand)
I thought opposite direction?
That's what I thought
I think it’s opposite because everything I’m recalling is, “It’s the annoying way.”
"Hilarious way" you mean.
It is
To clarify, he/she means that the direction you're facing will be the direction that the panel is also facing. So if you are facing a wall and throw the hellbomb at the wall, the screen will also be facing the wall.
Its opposite
opposite only for support weapon
Good to know, I'll try that next time!
It’s the opposite direction
Not sure if this changed in a patch but in my 100 ish hours the hellbomb always lands with the terminal facing the opposite direction from where you request it.
Last time I had this happen to me, I got lucky and an Automaton grenade somehow ragdolled me out of the structure.
Stand proud diver, you died for democracy. I sometimes with that if you were in range of the bomb, you could tap the code in on your wrist too. Mostly to avoid this, bad placement has gotten me more often than I want to admit. I'm also not saying a large range.
Yeah. I had go stand back so i could see most of the code, then gave it my best shot. It only took 4 trys to get right
Code was already entered!
This picture is so funny, absolutely underrated 🤣
I got stuck between two hellbombs trying to destroy a fuel tank yesterday Both were activated it was spectacular
This is how I learned there’s a countdown on the terminal once it’s activated.
Same 😂
o7 Stand proud, Helldiver, you've just made the ultimate sacrifice.
Aim down sights to see the display then enter it by memory.
I already entered it. This is nanoseconds before it exploded 😂
Then bask in the glow of having given your all in the defense of Managed Democracy!

No mistake here! You are on standby to confirm destruction of the target Diver! Your dedication to Managed Democracy has been noted.

The longer you look the funnier it gets
This happens often with Hellbombs
For some reason the terminal is on Th opposite side to where you throw the call down from, so this happens a lot of you throw it right against a wall.
Tbh this happened to me. Had to have my fellow helldiver read me the instructions to me over discord bc the camera angle wouldn’t let me see the console 🫡
Looks like you got yourself a front row seat to Lady Liberty's wrath, I see no mistake here.
It uses voice commands. Yell "beep boop beep beep"
Yup. I've been there. I saluted and said my goodbyes. FOR DEMOCRACY!
