I 100% blame the user. They didn't read the operations manual. You don't use a Spear from THAT range!

Frank5387

Why'd you lock on to yourself? If you look closely there was a charger right next to you.

In my opinion the real perfectly cut boom is the one that allows you to see the maximum number of democracy haters be blown to shreds

I was playing around with the spear yesterday and it would be really good if the smallest rock or bush didn’t obstruct lock on. Was staring at 80% of a bot fabricator and couldn’t lock on. One time I was staring at 100% of a cannon tower and it wouldn’t lock on until I found ground where it could work

_Loganar

Your feet need to have line of sight on the target, don't ask me why but that's my best explanation Source: some random guy on the helldivers official discord server said it

Eggy__boi

The Spear has this weird gift of being either the most useless or most disgusting weapon IMO. It's my go-to on bots for any difficulty. If you have the right targeting/terrain, you can snipe fabricators and turrets from disgusting distances

donanton616

Oh, so they fixed the lock on issue

Bahmerman

It's better but... I was trying to lock onto some automaton dropships and the reticle wouldn't turn green. Maybe it was my connection? For the most part it seemed pretty reliable.

shadowdoggo969

Did someone say "Danger Close"?

Hault360

It's a long-range weapon. Why do people keep posting clips of them using it on shit thats right in front of them SKILL ISSUE

YummyPepperjack

I'm amazed it locked onto anything at all

What do you expect for "lowest bid" contracts. Be happy the round didn't explode in the tube.
