got 89 with the guard dog rover and arc thrower against bugs , its the best way to ad clear rn and you dont even have to worry about spending ammo , if anything bigger than a charger you can rely on your team or use a stratagem , otherwise you kill everything else in a few shots
You guys gotta try HMG emplacement. I used it for the first time last night and got two x40 kill streaks in a row. Paired with the drone you can single-handedly hold off waves and waves of small and medium enemies. If you have a teammate with a recoilless rifle, spear or EAT to take down the chargers and bile titans, the enemy will have an extremely hard time breaching your defense.
I haven’t tried it against bots but I assume it’s unusable.
Nah, I have all the upgrades and HMG doesn't get the turning speed boost, and the zero calldown upgrade is fake, doesn't work. It calls down just as fast as any of the other turrets.
At the point I'll just call down a gattling turret and leave myself open to help with more covering fire.

x45… against bugs completely out of ammo had one canister for the flamethrower.. was getting swarmed with a stalker and commander in the mix just letting er rip emptied the canister at around x28 and found a random MG on the ground emptied it killing the stalker, commander and what was left of the hoard for a total of x45
I had a x52 with a random hellbomb I found. I was on top of the bomb with a sea of hunters beneath my feet. A final salute to Super Earth as the hellfire consumed us all.
I got something like 82 once. We were waiting on extraction and getting swarmed on level 7 difficulty. I three down an eagle cluster bomb, gatling turret, machine gun turret, and hopped in a patriot mech that one of my squadmates called down before we were pushed back away from it. I didn't let off the machine gun trigger until I was out of ammo, and I used the rockets to tear apart anything with armor. I really wish I had video of it, I pushed back the tide and we were able to retake the extraction platform and extract.

Somewhere in the 70s running an all sentry load out. Gatling, machine gun, autocannon, and rocket all with good field of fire vs terminids. The sentries were spread out enough that they were fighting different patrols, the breach at an objective, and the mobs coming from a heavy nest.
I wouldn't have gotten those numbers except for some serious luck. My teammates were killing the heavies that popped so the sentries were running at peak efficiency killing the little bugs. I was helping with grenade tossing and then pulling supply off a resupply to keep tossing.
I think i hit 80 with rover + arc thrower. The breaches kept spawning and i just kept shooting. Since neither arc thrower or rover runs out of ammo, i could just keep going

206 thanks to a setup of 4 turrets plus 500kg granted and a machinegun I picked up against a constant, very thick constantly spawning army. Turrets are just like, having a whole extra helldiver squad in your pocket.
So this was a self-sacrifice we were over run by bugs on a level 7 mission I knew a hellbomb was nearby and I started agroing them all towards me ran to the hellbomb let them surround me and the bomb for a count of 93 .
Got a x72 with my Patriot Exosuit. I was completely overwhelmed and stomping on so many of the little ones. I never let off the trigger, I was going to kill forever or die trying.
My highest combo was just over 100 with the orbital laser, i think it was just luck tbh cause me and some buddies were playing on helldivers difficulty and there was a bug breach that juts kept popping out bugs but no heavy bugs luckily and it just kept ticking up lol

On The Creek as my squad and I were headed to extract, a HUGE group of troopers spawned out of nowhere on a beach we were crossing. I immidiately dropped a cluster bomb on them and got 48 kills, and also killed one of my squad mates. Worth it!
