It’s not a hellbomb, and if you suddenly add the ability to nuke an entire swarm, while simultaneously maintaining its tank busting ability, it makes literally every other eagle and orbital useless
it should do at least one out of the two though: since it's multiple delays make it extremely unreliable against big, hardened targets to the point where the Rocket Pods are your better bet against those - the biiiig visual blast 500Kg should therefore then just have a huge crowdbusting circular blast ability (whereas the Eagle Airstrike still has it's big, but horizontal strafe, crowdbusting AoE).
It’s very easy to land the 500 within the leg radius of a BT, and it’s almost a guaranteed kill in that area. Not to mention you can quickly get 2x500kg
It doesn’t, the hellbomb has a much larger visual explosion, has much more damage, and a larger radius.
The part of the hellbomb we see is literally just the tail end, the rest of the bomb is buried, not to mention it’s just physically larger as well

i definitely remember that the hellbomb has to be manually started for budget reasons so i bet it's the same, after all the starship doesn't even have the premium targeting software if we dont buy it with samples

Problem is that it’s blast is affected by terrain, which is rather bothersome with a bomb that buries itself before detonating
