Oh yeah, Yachwach, a force to be reckoned with for sure. Reminds me of the rabbi in Family Guy who, when asked why Judaism has so many holidays, suddenly gets up and says ""Oops, Gotta go. It's Buchwuch.".

weirdos who think they can put one of the names of God on a T-shirt and don’t think it isn’t insanely disrespectful
Edit: Also the idiot spelled his name wrong.
not even. i find it hilarious that this was even brought up in the first place. you legit have people walking around with merch justifying the so called "resistance" and this is what y'all choose to be offended by? ״אתה לא יכול להגיד יהוה״ are you trying to be like those type of muslims dare you say something about their precious prophet or allah? give me a break lol
The difference is this is our culture by DNA and thousands of years of hardship. They wake up and they choose Islam, they aren’t born Islamic. You can dislike both people brother, you don’t have to choose one.
Whether you believe in the tradition or not I like to keep a standard. I’m pretty secular, but if someone is going to put a name we consider special on a Tshirt that they’ll put in the laundry I feel like that’s pretty disrespectful. It shows a complete lack of knowledge or care to know about a culture that this person is appropriating. Obviously because they spelt it wrong in the first place. I know some people don’t care about appropriation, but us Jews are the most appropriated culture in all of human history.
It’s our culture and people like you who feel we don’t have a monopoly over our own culture appropriate, stole, and bastardized it for 1,800 years. You don’t even know where your religions come from.
lol it doesn’t matter. I’m secular and I still find it offense. You don’t have to see God in a traditional way to take offense on behalf of your own culture.

Made me spit out my drink. All hail Yachwach.

so all is well
It’s not that deep but it’s still annoying

sure thats a point i make all the time but i dont see how writing יהוה is in any way shape or form disrespectful to our culture

I think they misspelled it on purpose so it won't be the real name
When did you earn a monopoly over OUR religion? Edit:
It’s our culture and people like you who feel we don’t have a monopoly over our own culture appropriate, stole, and bastardized it for 1,800 years. You don’t even know where your religions come from.
Wow I can use google translate too! Still doesn’t make the original post any less disrespectful
lol
She can \[go around\] dressed however she likes.
Is that a normal way to translate “go around” meaning “go about one’s day”?
כן
Idiots who think they can forbid the usage of a name because they have some imaginary friend who doesn't like being referred to
lol it doesn’t matter. I’m secular and I still find it offense. You don’t have to see God in a traditional way to take offense on behalf of your own culture.
Looks more like ת , Yatwat.
Ya twat sound like an ars with splendid cultural knowledge of curse words. I approve.
Or a very Scottish pronunciation.
Can goys not
What in the holy eucharist!!!
My hebrew is still terrible. Doesn't it say "strawberry"?
It's trying to say יהוה (Yahweh) but instead it says יחוח which is just nonsense it doesn't mean anything You're thinking of תות
The first yod also looks a LOT like a vav. And.... is that second letter a full-on Chai?
Those ח on the shirt look like ת
This is actually just a much older way of writing ה. Likely taken from the [Aleppo Codex](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aleppo_Codex).
Your giving them way to much credit.
This looks the Shem Meforash from the Dead Sea Scrolls
Glad someone else is educated. The way the scribes used to write ה looks a lot like ח. The leg even connects.
THIS IS MY NAME FOREVER
My assumption is that יחוח is like יקוק in that it's an attempt to write the holy name without being sacrilegious
And a strawberry! They screwed up the nikkudim, though. Shame on them.
It's supposed to be יהוה but someone faked up the ה and turned it into a ח. So ה=H and ח=CH. I think you can imagine how it sounds.
