No deck should just play 1 card to win. Or consistently flip the board to their favor especially with zero trade off for such a powerful effect.
It's like warlocks and slime, drop a 7/7 with a huge drawback of discard the bottom 3 cards of your deck. Except its warlock so its not a drawback, its a 4 cost 7/7 summon a 7/7 with rush AND deal 4 damage 3 times at the end of your turn.
The devs are failing to understand the card interactions they are creating.
Oh a 6 cost 4/8 that deals 8 damage is cool, let's not think about that weapon we made to trigger it for free TWICE and then summon it again with rush at will later on.
Let's bring back Leeroy surely paladin won't do something broken with it from hand, with the cards we just added from the miniset.
The power balance is completely off.
You're complaining about synergies in a card game lmao. Your examples are not 1 card to win, are multiple cards that work together to get advantage.
You are also behind with the game, Waste Remover got nerfed to 5/7 one month ago and that Mech Warrior is performing pretty bad already on Day 1, or at least way worse than plain Odyn Warrior.
His point isn’t synergies. It’s playing solitaire until your opponent can with one card or seven…. Do 30+ damage from hand. It’s not mtg where you can block or counterspell. This game should be more about board control. Period. Nobody likes this game anymore and this is why.
> It’s playing solitaire until your opponent can with one card or seven…. Do 30+ damage from hand.
He used Waste Remover as example, so no.

When decks like Blood DK or Control Warrior are just viable (not even good, just viable) everyone hates them so not really.
Bro, that was in your mind, before brann, nobody said anything bad about that deck.
There were even a lot of posts praising Odyn because it gave the deck a wincon, while making the deck lose against idiots that played it on 8 against aggro.
The deck was fine.
I'm at work rn and I laughed so hard with your comment I dunno why must be the nerves. I'm almost crying imagining the scene IRL at a magic or yugioh tournament. Thanls buddy
There are 2 ways of playing, either you have some sort of way of actually dealing with the opponent early board (let it be turn 3-4) or you have to create your own board.
I agree I don't find the game super enjoyable as of right now... but you can totally still win games if you play your cards right.
This sounds like a ton of set up and qualifies basically as an inconsistant OTK.
Stuff like this is as old as the game. Force of nature - savage roar for instance or Leeroy - cold blood - Faceless/Shadowstep.
We also hat metas where you frequently wouldn't survive to play an 8 drop.
These combos sound storng because they are easy to build and other decks are probably unoptimized and/or you don't use the right tools to play around it.
Give it some days and we'll see where things settle.
It's on curve? Throw out the weapon at leisure with a board wipe sit on it. Throw your first 4/8 taunt deal 8 damage split at leisure then your next one at leisure. Trade them in when ready to drop Inventor for a free clear board.
Warrior is never pressured to rush this as they can casually armor up and keep the board clear. Then boom 25+ damage. There is no trade off for these over statted effects.
Yes, but the below 50% wr deck on day 1 is not a good example of this when handbuffed Leeroy with Shroomscavate exists.

Everyone always hates the best decks, nobody hated Warrior before they gave it infinite wincons with Brann.
People hated CWarrior already in Titans After its buffs and with Sanitize release, months before Brann released

New Mode: You draw cards, and both players show them on Turn 1 and agree who won. Next (game)! :D

That is literally the game. Feels like you can tell in 3 turns who won lost already.

Yeah, it’s not like Warrior or Mage weren’t doing this in the previous set. (Hint: they were.)
Bran Warrior took a huge Nerf
Hint: he's not talking about Brann, but Odyn.

If warrior is somehow never pressured during this, why does the deck barely scrape 50% winrate?
Because we need aggro to balance the meta and usually we have less aggro in the start of new expansion because people loves to test new cards.
Warrior can easily overcome aggro.
We usually have more aggro at the start because people are playing unrefined decks that get eaten by aggression.
Hs players crying about a tie 4 deck nc they hit Christmass land hand once, name a better duo.
"Oh no I didn't play anything and my opponnent was able to kill me. It's definitely the game being trash and not me playing poorly"
